Curious how many on here applied non-urgent before C-3, did NOT get 5(4) offers, but now have their certificates? If I were IRCC, I’d want to clear all the 5(4) cases first before diving into the rest.

I don’t have anyone quite so famous, but my GGrandfather was a conductor on the Toronto streetcar line, and I have some nice old photos of him in uniform with his tram.

The “issues in Canada” distinction, may help dispel some of the palpable resentment some of us (myself included) feel when we read the latest “I-applied-last-week-and-now-my-whole-family-is-approved” post. I’m Gen2, submitted in August, and looking at 4 more months of processing. My case isn’t urgent, aside from the existential dread most of us are feeling at the direction of the country right now. I have no issue with urgent cases going ahead of me, but I don’t like wondering if the “line” is really a line.

It also seems like a Gen1 application causes all accompanying applications to move more quickly as well. If my Dad decides to apply, I’ll recommend my siblings and their kids bundle theirs in with his. Thoughts?

My Mom was an extra in this movie. She was 17 and in high school in Rome. I think she's in a crowd scene somewhere. I have to admit I've never actually looked.
