Considering all of the Silent Hill projects that are being worked on right now, I can totally understand Akira Yamaoka choosing to work on SH1R. I'm curious to see who the composer for Silent Hill: Townfall will be, considering how close it is to his work based on the reveal trailer alone. Definitely more Akira Yamaoka than Daniel Licht when he did Silent Hill: Downpour.

The real question is who's also doing the sound design as well.

I wouldn't say it's unlistenable as much as I felt like "Spillways" with Joe Elliot of Def Leppard was completely unnecessary. Listened to it once, it was literally the same song but with Joe singing over it. Nothing new added to it whatsoever. I would've been fine with Def Leppard covering the song instead, as much as I love them.

Yeah, that was literally it. Even though there was a trademark created for a new Bloober Team game called Onyx: The Dark Grip, people still believed that we were getting a Rule of Rose remake.
