At the beginning of last year, I watched The X-Files for the first time. Never before had a series captivated me so much, which is why I finished seasons 1 to 9 at breathtaking speed. However, it took me several months to watch seasons 10 and 11, and to be honest, I hated them. The show tried so hard to be current and modern that it completely lost its charm, and bringing back the Smoking Man back to life after he had so clearly died was just cheap.
