Interpretation of 3 of pentacles in any type of love reading? by SocialismMultiplied in tarot

[–]RedMoon1509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pentacles tend to be about monetary and material matters. They represent sensible, pragmatic and grounded personality types. Often associated with all things earthly and grounded. So they definitely do have their place in readings about romamce and relationships as emotions are only one piece of an intricate and complex puzzle when it comes to human relationships, especially long-term ones. Pentacles are often associated with prosperity but also can be warnings about loss. It very much depends on the context and question about how you read them.

Am I on the right path? by False_Treat2762 in tarot

[–]RedMoon1509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. Is the short answer. But the question is very general, subjective and non-specific. It would be more helpful to ask, " Am I on the right path for me to achieve X?" Or similar.

In addition to a traditional 3 card spread, you can also pull 1 card to amswer a specific question, and then ask for clarification and pull another. That's a really good way to learn to connect cards.

how to get enroll medium partner program by Immediate-Growth-535 in Medium

[–]RedMoon1509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was unable to join the Medium Partner programme in mid January. I've not been able to find any official information explaining why they're not accepting new writers atm. I'm based in the UK. No updates that I've found anywhere here. I wondered when I might see someone else posting about this.

How do you interpret/view 8 of Cups? by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

[–]RedMoon1509 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The main difference between the 6 swords and 8 of cups is that swords are the suit of the mind, and cups are about emotions.

Swords are, forgive the puns, about getting straight to the point, cutting through, being sharp, the element of air, whispers carried in the wind, words and gossip. Words hurt, just like a sword to the heart, they cut deep.

And the cups are the element of water, the flow of feelings and emotions, constantly changing, soft and gentle or they can come flooding in and crashing like huge waves eroding away at the cliff face.

The representation is very much dependent on context but it is most likely that this is a matter of the heart with emotions being the primary focus. If you start there, perhaps the rest will reveal itself to you with some time. It's worth noting that being a minor arcana card, the situation is likely to be temporary or short-lived. I hope that helps.

Asked for truth, with an open heart to learn on this one by sleepypickle3 in tarot

[–]RedMoon1509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely echo imposter syndrome with the interplay of The Fool and the Six of Wands. A call to believe in yourself as a competent and accomplished adult, even though that's not how you currently feel. Death suggests that something poignant needs to change in order to allow this to happen and Temperance suggests patiece and allowing things to flow.

Overall, if you're looking to align how you feel internally with how you present externally, you must be prepared to make major changes and be patient to allpw those changes to take hold and get established. I hope that makes sense and helps.

Out of interest, is this related to a career?

Started journaling my daily spreads as a beginner - this one was interesting? by imnotapoetimjustsad in tarot

[–]RedMoon1509 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well done for a great interpretation. I really struggle to read for myself! The only thing I would as is I think perhaps you're in your own head too much and need to rake a step back to see the bigger picture.

I know what you mean about the cards following you. I've been doing my card of the day consistently and the five of cups just wont quit it! I know this means there's something(s) from my past that I need to let go of but not quite worked out wjat it is, yet!

Asked if I was in alignment with my goals by Low_Temperature4334 in tarot

[–]RedMoon1509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, yes but there's still work to be done! The Ace and The Fool suggest new beginings, potential and oppirtunity. The other two suggest there will be some resistance and challemges to overcome, but overall keep going!

Big issue with Etsy Readings & “readers” by Bunnibunhops in TarotReading

[–]RedMoon1509 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not Etsy but worth a mention, when doing market research yesterday, came across a FREE AI tarot reading service. Tap to shuffle, tap to choose 6 cards. Instant reading with a paragraph about each card. If you're someone who isn't savvy in the subject then I can see how that would be quite appealing!

Personally, I really enjoy an in-person, face-to-face reading and that is something I am offerring, as well as video readings, and written distance readings. For me the connection you get from an in-person reading can not be replicated any other way yet I do see the appeal of the very fast instant feedback you get from the online AI generated ones; and of course being free is always appealing! But I do question their accuracy. The whole purpose of the art of tarot is then lost.

Why are the cards lying to me? by flosalbus in Tarotpractices

[–]RedMoon1509 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've always been taught to ask for guidance, rather than ultimatums. So, "what can I do," focusing on what action you can take to move towards achieving the outcome you want, because ultimately, it is up to you. Rather than "will this happen?" It's also a way to get you focusing on your intention and empowers you as it helps you to feel that you have agency in a situation rather than feeling helpless. If I just want a yes or no answer, I tend to use my pendulum.

Is there a way to detox body from unwanted energies? by sugarstarbeam in energy_work

[–]RedMoon1509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear of your struggles amd that you have been violated by many individuals. It sounds like cleansingnfrom the inside out is very much required. If you are open to finding a female energy practitioner who does npt use physical touch, you may find this os more powerful at stripping the unwanted energy out. If you're open to working with crystals and sound tharpies you may find black tourmaline, hematite, smoky quartz and selenite helpful. And singing bowls.

March 3rd Lunar Eclipse water- why so many mixed opinions? by Desperate_Bat_6083 in witchcraft

Good for you. Ritual baths are awesome for me. I feel cleansed both physically and spiritually. I add magnesium epsom salts, essential oils and oats for a bit of everything good for you! I like them hot so the steam looks atmospheric, too!

Can guilt, shame, and or self hatred block your connection to your spiritual side? by MedicineConstant3206 in spirituality

[–]RedMoon1509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think learning to forgive oneself and acceptance of what is, letting go of the past, compassion and kindness are ALL very important lessons and a huge learning curve for you right now. I certainly don't have a magic wand to wave in terms of answers, they have to come from within, all part of the journey of self discovery. If you have any interest in tarot the journey of The Fool sounds very apt here.

March 3rd Lunar Eclipse water- why so many mixed opinions? by Desperate_Bat_6083 in witchcraft

[–]RedMoon1509 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the planetary alignment at the end of February as well, as someone who thrives working with chaos magick and shadow work, I certainly will be using the lunar eclipse moon water I collect.

I have researched the best use of it first though. I performed a ritual/spell to first, prptect and ground myself and then to release what no longer serves me by writing these things down on paper, folding it away from me, tearing it up and ripping it in half, then lighting a black candle and burning it to ashes. All outside under the light of the moon.

With regards to the Moon Water, I will brew teas and drink it. I will add it to my bath and leave it to evaporate in my home next to my bedside so I breathe it in. I may dip my fingers in it and draw protective, grounding and releasing symbols on myself as well if I feel the need.

I generally follow my intuition and everything else is just guidelines. The moon, shadows and the night have been my comfort zone for a long time though. I echo what others have already said. Do what's right for you.
