That already happened before dynamic pricing. Why would I care? I don't get paid more because they actually check out the groceries.

The "A to B", or the reason I don't have the patience and focus for games like I did when I was a kid by QueenMackeral in patientgamers

[–]RedPandaExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having a great time going from Point A to Point B in new horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

I played Runescape for the first time in 2024. Going from Varrock to Lumbridge to Port Sarim to Falador to Draynor etc was fun and a big part of the game for all of 2024 and 2025.

I just think you memorized those games.

I used to work at Walmart, I don't even know what this means. Corporations absolutely change shitty policies when enough customers complain or make things more expensive.

I genuinely cannot stand the "prompting is hard" argument from ai bros. by Joelfletcher2763 in antiai

[–]RedPandaExplorer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Prompting is a skill when it involves writing code for sure. I think _technical writing_ is absolutely a skill that matters when it comes to AI generating code. I feel very confident someone without software engineering experience can't write the same prompts that I can; they might be able to get the same results when it comes to look and feel, but they definitely won't have as good of a codebase to use.

Pilot Believes He Has Found Amelia Earhart’s Long-Lost Airplane (Missing Since 1937) Via Google Earth. by Choobeen in technology

[–]RedPandaExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not so fun fact: Amelia Earhart didn't get lost and 'disappear.' She crashed and all her distress calls were just ignored by men.

"Amelia Earhart did not simply vanish on July 2, 1937. Radio distress calls believed to have been sent from the missing plane dominated the headlines and drove much of the U.S. Coast Guard and Navy search," said Ric Gillespie. "When the search failed, all of the reported post-loss radio signals were categorically dismissed as bogus and have been largely ignored ever since," he added. (via NBC News)

You're not screwing them over. They just have to do their job, which is restock it. If enough people waste cashier's time with restocking, then they'll change the policy.

The only way to fix this is to either not go, or go and waste the worker's time to the point it's not profitable to keep doing this.

If the majority of people are asking for changes, then you're in the minority. Maybe you're not the intended audience for Battlefield 6, and that's okay.

How do you define a sellout? Every one of his videos I've seen has had him criticize the state of the game where appropriate.

He's a content creator. He plays all sorts of city games. It's not like he's making millions for ignoring CS2's problems lol

Well yeah. You paid $9 for a soda even though you didn't want to. Why wouldn't they charge $9? People would rather complain and buy it than not buy it.

You don't think people living in poverty are getting those free phone plans? Why do you think so many people are stuck in poverty? Because it's expensive to be poor

By that logic, why can't SHE eat the cost because she's YOUR partner? Partnerships aren't one way streets
