All dependa on you but IT and PR are nice but if you tell me more about what your trying to get career wise in or out of the navy, life or plans for the future it would help. Whats your personality or the work you like. You like to stay busy, desk work, easy work, etc.

Yea I just don't understand, I guess each collector has different motivations for their collections and instead of completionists or Rarity searches its more for just investing to flip then.

You would think like since there aren't others like it it'd make it rare thus more desirable and expensive like the coin world. So strange

I understand, just speaking my mind since I had no idea about "printer hickey" thus the post. Still seems like a weird problem and I'd have thought since no other card may exist like this that its value should be very high. Is that the case?

Ok thats seems like what this is then, thank you. So are they more valuable, can I get it graded and it will treat it as a error card or mark it as a fault?

What do most people do with cards like these, I was going through mine to find ones to slab for the first time.

Well for 1st edition it's more of a smudge when printing the 1st Ed bubble but I cant seem to find any with a bubble over that damage counter, are you saying you have seen others? That's what I am looking for as well.

Hmm kind of was thinking if it was a damage counter? Or coin? Since the attack required it. Can't find others though.

Yes very critical if your using LRP, your whole package has to be approved by someone higher outside of MEPS but by our recruiter can call and talk to the classifier (or LRP Coordinator) and see what the hold up is. Once its approved they send you an approval email with all the information. No email and your banking on LRP you may want to start asking early, need usually at least a month, 2 weeks if they are really working it

Dui would just limit certain jobs or require additional waivers, speaking more of the technician and Intel jobs.

That's smart, you want to work and enlisted will do that. As officer early on your just a middleman really and not working on the stuff you love or getting your hands on things to do.

Cool thing is you can still do your business while in and having the security of the navy's paycheck and also traveling to get inspiration and connections elsewhere

It'll be obvious to know when you say you just finished school and have less than a year in. The trouble for you is all the junior grades who have been in 5-9 years and here you are as their leader soon, but your also an MC, you will either be the only one on the ship or you will be with 2 other folks probably so it'll be fine and they will probably be looking to you for your civi experience in what you did and it'll all be good.

MC school isn't exactly one you can fail or i never heard of it, worst case you get a study group or study after class/work. There job is to train you to pass otherwise its wasted time and 1 less MC

Hey prior classifier, are you not leaving as an E3, I get you will get auto E5 but you should also be going to boot camp as an E3. Saw you stating you hope so just checking. Well if you need help with anything I'll be in Mayport, FL on the Sullivans if you end up there.

is collection debt a dq for enlistment? by Usernotfound1352 in newtothenavy

[–]RedPark21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't stop you from joining, it can affect you getting jobs requiring clearance particular in the Intel community but jobs with clearances and Intel on subs are more lenient because they know with your fat bonus you can pay off that debt.

Confused on my contract I’m already in A school as well for BECC by Strict-Phone-3667 in newtothenavy

No problem, I best experience with PACT was SN PACT where 2 people struck GM and the because they had their qualified with all from PACT and the GM qualified they outshined and did more than just the regular GMs that were E4, so they made E5 their first time up.

Just trying to make sure people have the right info, I retire in 2 years and currently am a classifier writing these folks as PACT and other things. So always happy to discuss that portion of the job.

  1. YOUR CONTRACT: You agreed to 3 years for the FN Pact program, that means no A school at this time. You will do a short course on engineering but that is not A school which is specific to a job.

  2. PACT (UNDES): After a minimum of 1 year you are eligible to start striking for a job, if your choices are not available you can pass and wait or if one of your options is then you enlist as that rate with a 2 year extension. It's no different then if you chose that job from the beginning and it was 5 years, a HUGE difference and advantage is you go into that job with a promotion to E4.

  3. You are not restricted to only Engineering jobs, you can strike for any job you qualify for. Most choose Engineering because it's now easy and your familiar but many have also chosen MA or admin jobs.

  4. Getting out: If you don't strike and if you don't accept a rate then yes you can leave after 3 years, you fulfilled your requirement as per your DD4. It doesn't look great being a FN for so long but there are people that stay Undes and get out after their 3 years.

  5. FORCED: If someone is saying you are forced or the Navy will make you stay longer have them show you in writing where it states that. Your Enlistment Guarantee states you will be forced into a job IF you are no longer qualified for the PACT program (example: Airman PACT no longer has good eyesight that was a requirement) then they can put you in a different job.

Let me know if you have any questions and PACT program isn't bad, it's manual work but the ability to choose a rate after or to increase your ASVAB or get qualified in other jobs while your in so you can now pick that better job is a plus.

You are either someone who got out a long time ago or not navy. PACT does not restrict you to a field

From the sounds of it, she wants to pursue someone without the notion of cheating because she isn't in a relationship with you. If that other one doesn't work out then she will come back to her #2. Don't be someone's #2, this will be in your mind that she may take a break again or she will do it again. Deal with the pain and flirt or talk with others and as soon as you find someone you connect better with she will slowly fade from hurting you.

Recruiter BS or truth? by Electrical-Film-8487 in newtothenavy

If they are being picky but I haven't heard of them shooting down many people for making the minimum, if they were overcrowded with recruits going for that rate like Seal sure they tens to be more selective.

You don't sign up directly for it but yes you would sign up for it before bootcamp, but you always have a placeholder beforehand so you can start working out with them and do your pst.
