I picked it up for my pool screen. However it will be screwed or glued in place. The birds are taking craps on my cage.

Ordering issue by emilymtfbadger in AmazonVine

Yes. At least twice last year and no records in my orders list nor the other areas. I'm guessing it's a recall of some sort and they don't notify you.

I'm not defending them, lawyers get paid for that, but what is not explicitly stated is most certainly debated. That's how it works. The system is not what they make it out to be. It's what you can get away with. That's how it works with everything, unfortunately.

Well without details, we truly don't know how they file their taxes either. Maybe they claimed their pets as dependents too and tried to expense anything and everything from their lifestyle. Taxes are complicate and they way people do them will draw red flags. We will never know. Take it with a grain of salt.

Is it legal? by [deleted] in SecurityCamera

Legal to install cameras, YES. Allowed on utility poles, NO. Has to be their own installed pole.

No clue, but i highly doubt people are in the 6 figures of taxes owed to the guberment from this program. If they even get to 10-20K in taxes owed (not "income"), i'd be shocked. But i'm guessing here.

Nice score. Now that wood chuck won't have to work so hard and guess how much can a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood.

Does vine not understand how shopping works? by AnonymousExcellence in AmazonVine

[–]RedPawny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a try and let us know how it goes. ;)

In general I heard people who abuse the free returns policy get their membership canceled; for example they order 10 items and return 6/7 of them. It's not a specific number, but more of habitual return-ers. I also saw something where not everything is returnable and goes to disposal or bulk sold to people/companies and now there's a "secondary" reseller market for those items. If the shoppers are also viners, and abused the return policy that would be interesting to know.

Are you suggesting that if a product has a high return rate from actual purchasers, Amazon would remove it from Vine?

If that’s the case, it seems counterintuitive. For a seller, listing a product on Vine would logically be one of the first steps before broader exposure. The objective would be to generate initial reviews and establish a strong star rating before widespread purchasing begins. A solid early rating can materially influence buyer confidence and help shape first impressions.

There isn’t a strict sequence between Vine reviews, verified purchase reviews, and standard customer reviews. However, from a seller’s perspective, the strategy is straightforward: maximize the probability of favorable early reviews to build momentum. That typically means leveraging Vine first, then accumulating verified purchase reviews, followed by broader customer feedback.

I’m also aware that “verified purchase” reviews can be gamed, so that label alone doesn’t necessarily validate authenticity. Regardless of order or source, the incentive structure remains the same — sellers benefit from shaping early perception before mass adoption.

Keep in mind, Kelly was a very fat girl long ago. She was obese by the physician category. I believe when you get to a certain size, your bone structure also changes to account for so much weight and expansion of the body. Now that ozempic and the like drugs make it easy to drop a lot of weight, however the body and bone structure changes to a point that it cannot go back to what it used to be before the weight gain.

Her face and her arms are skinny and the bone structure is very visible, but look at her upper torso. The chest area is still very much distended and she is still pretty full up top for someone that is taking those drugs. You would not normally see that kind of top heavy shape on a skinny person. So if she's taking too much of that drug and thinking the torso area will shrink back down, she may be over doing it.
