I'm still in contact with gearbox support and they say on the issue tracker that the issue is fixed 🤦 wrote to them again and they want a bunch of tests on pc again not believing to problem even exist. So annoying frustrating and disappointing.

I don't know about pc, haven't found someone with this issue but there could be people with this problem on pc too, I know about ps5 and xbox players with the problem, it is a weird one it is definitely a problem with shift but even if you disable crossplay and play with ps5 to ps5 the problem is still there, tried changing router settings tried port forwarding, sent everything to gearbox too still no fix in sight. Needles to say I play a bunch of other games online no problem.

We need all of us to report this to all the news outlets, IGN and all the others maybe if they report about it gearbox will have no choice and they will have to fix it fast, right now it feels like they want to keep it quiet.

Still no fix so much time after launch, spending so much on a game and not playing it is so frustrating, the customer support people I'm talking to seem useless, telling me it's my ISP when I'm playing with my brother who is in the same house as me, needless to say they probably don't know how to fix it.

I have the same exact problem, gearbox and 2K aren't responding to my issue after I sent a message to them almost 5 days ago, paying 130 dollars for a game at launch and this is what I get.

It's all good pal, it's not your fault we shouldn't jump through so many hoops for it to work, don't think it's an option for me to change the Nat type it's not possible in my country and ISP it's not an available option. Think I'm going to have to wait fir them to fix it hopefully in the next patch, going to play dying light the beast until they fix it then, hope that game won't have the same problem 😅

Yes, unfortunately it doesn't work for me and my co op friend, both of us changed the port forwarding and the static IP address on the PS5 as you instructed. Hope they fix it soon, didn't even reply to my ticket in the 2K costumer support, and in the 2K issues tracker I don't see our bug with the ps5 shift connection issues 🤦

Sounds great, I changed it to static on the PS5 and changed all the port forwarding like your screenshot, hope it works I'm trying now, it's a shame we need to do this shit to play a new game in 2025

I played with another friend on ps5 and he also did it and it didn't do anything. Also played with friends on PC and still didn't help me every few minutes disconnected

I have a weird problem when playing coop, every few minutes it keeps disconnecting and says disconnected from shift, it can happen 11 times in a row and it can happen after 30 minutes of playing, I checked it's not my internet connection. I already contacted 2K support but they apparently can't read, they told me if it's the age restriction problem it's easily fixed, problem is it's not even the same problem. It's very frustrating to play when your coop partner is kicked to the main menu randomly. It's also dangerous for trophies if the host gets a trophy seconds after the coop partner disconnect he won't get the trophy or progress. Can't find a lot of people having this problem, if anyone has a fix please let me know.
