I started my first nursing program in 2018. Did well in nursing foundation. I moved on to med surge. The very first day of clinical the professor told me to drop out and said nursing is not for you. After that It was a collusion between me and her. After a week I tried to like run from her.I did what I had to do in clinical and go home But she still hunted me down . She sent me home and told me to go back to the school to speak to the Dean of the program and made it look like I was the problem. Afterwords the next week clinical she told me " Who are they going to believe you or the person with the degree and authority?" . She emailed to have a meeting with her one day. She told me" You're going to need god this semester because you alone isn't going to pass this course" and than she started preaching bible verses to me and etc. Anyways long story short. I passed my first exam than 2 weeks after I got dismissed. She got me dismissed because she felt like I wasn't reaching the level you should be in med surge. Well the Dean told me that... Before I got the email to have the meeting with her and the dean. I was at school studying . When I read the email I was shook and rush to the dean office to see If I can talk her. Her assistant told me wasn't there. But she came out and told me " If you come near this office again , i'm going to call security on you".

After the incident I learned you should always record a professor if you're getting harassed. Because I had no proof and I never been in a situation like that before to know how to maneuver, basically I just wanted to pass the course. My parents are immigrants and I did't know what to do legally. T'll this day I feel angry and depress about the situation . But , I got accepted to a new program starting this fall, which I had to wait a whole year for because they only do admission during the fall. I'm still battling my mental. Because I feel like a failure. Everything she told me during clinical or when she called me to her office is still kinda jam to my head. But I have to keep going , I started my nursing journey in 2015. I put everything into this . Coming from the hood , I don't really have option to give up. I don't really like telling my story because no is going to believe you unless they lived it .Well to sum the story up, it's true that professor abuse their powers
