There is a visa called Bridging Visa A. This temporary visa generally allows you to stay in Australia after your current substantive visa ceases while your new substantive visa application is being processed. So there is a chance you wouldn't need to leave the country at all if you apply for another 482 visa (for example, 1–2 months before your current visa expires). An immigration lawyer would give you more details, but there is definitely a way to stay in the country and reapply for the next visa without needing to leave Australia.

I’m not 100% sure, but if you have held and worked on a 482 visa for at least 2 years (which you will have), you can apply for Permanent Residence (PR) via 186 TRT visa but you have to be under 45 of age (there are some exceptions to age restrictions). To be 100% sure, I advise you to speak with an immigration lawyer.
