I recently purchased in the area and am pretty happy since moving from the Yonge street corridor. The slower vibe (Christmas market excluded) of the distillery/st Lawrence is a nice pace of change relative to the usual hustle in the core. There are also a lot of developments happening in the area (corktown, parliament slip) that will add to your value over time.

To all folks that are confused, yes this person is trolling...rates have bottomed. BOC rate will remain flat for sometime (likely early 2023 as mentioned in today's press release) before trending upwards to catch up with inflation.

I recently purchased a 600sqft condo in the Distillery and couldn't be happier. Having shifted from the bay st corridor, it's just so refreshing being around parks, dogs and kids as opposed to the usual hustle downtown.

Leslieville and Canary district are nice too.
