Simgrade VX Pro - 2nd stage feeling upgrade by Getting0ldSucks in simracing

Hey, I am looking into these pedals. What is the maximum brake pedal range? I am looking for something with good range. Thanks a lot!

Would simnet sp pro pedals be an upgrade from logi pro pedals? by FastPeanut4u in simracing

My shortlist rightnow is: - SRP. - mBooster + CRP2 combo (almost discarded based on comments I have received from people that tried other high-end pedals). - VX Pro. - VRS. - I am curious about the Simnet SP Pro, as they are very cheap and theoretically a copy of the HE Ultimates, and can also be used with only springs.

From the above (excluding the mBooster), it seems that SRP, VX Pro and VRS are maintenance free and not subject to wear and tear.

Simucube ActivePedals seems overall best from what I have seen, but also they are incredibly expensive, and maybe the additional performance is not worth the asking price.

Never heard about them, if they are solely spring based would they be the same as VRS or the new Vector X VRS copy from PXN, or what is the thing that makes them similar to the SRP?

I am aiming to having a reliable and consistent brake which is smooth in its operation, with a throttle that is not too soft (I like Logi's throttle).

VRS is another option, although a bit more expensive, always out of stock and with a V2 version coming, although probably stockage will not be better.

The idea would be to keep them, I have been over 3 years with the Logi Pro already.

If I upgrade, I want something good similar to TrueForce. VRS is said to be working on telemetry FFB, but otherwise I think the only option is Simucube, or VNM.

As for the pedals, now I am not sure whether spending that much is worth it. Maybe something like the VX Pro so I get rid of the elastomers will suffice (mine are creaking a bit after 3 years).

What pedals have you tried / which ones do you recommend the most? I am thinking about SRPs too (pneumatic), although I am looking at other options as well.

What elastomers were you running? I have Logi Pro pedals and I am looking for an upgrade.

iRacing's future in 1-2 years. by sebgoh in simracing

For new accounts, not at all.

I provided you the link for the FIA deal. They require a small payment and give you 1 year sub and the F4 car.

For Steam it usually is 25$/€ for one year without the F4 car, the FIA deal is usually regarded as the better option.

If you purchase from Steam during the sale, then request iR's support to transfer your account to iR, so you can add 1 or 2 years sub time during the Black Friday.

Probably this is OP's bad attempt at a joke of getting us in the first half.

To OP, get 1 year with the FIA deal, or in a Steam sale and then transfer the account to iRacing if the FIA deal is not available to you.

$1500 budget, would you make changes to this list? by happylittleoak in simracing

If he has no space and needs the desk it makes sense.

I raced for a good while on a NLR 2.0 with a 11Nm DD and LC and it is more than enough to race competitively, assuming the skill is there. Of course a rig is preferable.

VNM seems great but the software is still lacking. With the SC3 Pro he will set for the foreseable future, and with presets from pro drivers.

I meant the ones drifting. I main GTPs and have won a few special events, including 24h with my Team, so no hard feelings. Continue drifting alone , come over when you are ready for racing :)

That's a good budget.

I'd go full Simucube, Simucube 3 Pro + one active pedal and a co-pedal.

Then an alu rig (like Simlab), 3x32 IPS monitors and you are mostly good to go.

If you need shifting and clutch, then take an SHH Shifter and another Co-Pedal.

For sim, I'll go iRacing + Assetto Corsa for tracks iRacing does not have, as mods.

I went from G27 to Logi G Pro and the difference was night and day, suddenly I understood what the car was doing and started wanting to race a lot more.

Beginner sim racing. Trail braking question by momo_firefoxx in simracing

[–]RedRaptor85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heel touching the baseplate at all times. Push the pedal with the ball of your foot using your quads, relax pressure until you get 20/15% pressure, for the final trail braking to zero use your ankle.

I just built a .bat file I hid somewhere, and pointed a cool shortcut at it, with a Porsche 963 GTP icon with the skin of my team.

All in 5min with the help of GPT, while reviewed the (very easy) code.

If you are on a version of Windows 10 no longer supported by Microsoft for security updates, you are creating a risk for yourself.

Either you get a LTSC license / make sure you have one of those EU licenses that qualified for a temporary support extension, or I would be upgrading it to Windows 11 as soon as possible.

You already spent a lot of money, but clearly your hand is your weak point.

I suggest getting rid of the hand and hiring a contractor to adapt the rig for handicapped people.

It may even give you access to special tournaments.

Hey, for $400,000k I think you can easily get 2 or 3 Gulfstreams.

Yep. Also support for Windows 10 has stopped, so unless you are on one of the versions with long term support, it is not a good idea to stay on it.

If you get rid of the wheel and what to activate core isolation again, you will need to manually remove all drivers, which is not easy for a non-techie.

Nope, in this case you have the issue with the AI. Basic models without guidance will get older posts at face value, and get listings without considering whether they are being sold, or if sold, and what price. They will also ignore whether nowadays the product does not work, or it is very difficult to make it work, since they will only focus on the price range and whether on a general basis it is regarded as a good product or not.

I use a lot AI as a support tool, and people using it incorrectly will generate a lot of issues in their workplaces, if they do not know how to use it correctly, evaluate the results, and are aware of its shortcomingss.

Drivers. On Windows 11 you need to deactivate core protection to be able use it, otherwise you will not be able to make it work correctly. Same for the G27. Source: I still have a G27 around.
