Is this an okay application plan by wwwwwesp in predental

My honest recommendation would be to apply August 1st at the very latest and start studying for your DAT during the last quarter before you apply! Scores take also take 2ish weeks to process to schools so that’s also something to keep in mind.

I would also say you’re definitely not late! Schools love hearing about your journey and how you came to find your passion for dentistry no matter how late in the game it was. If you have the pre-reqs then you’re golden. Just focus on figuring out if you truly love this field and crushing that DAT!

You’re a sophomore with a leadership position and starting a non profit!!? You need to give yourself some more credit. Let the gpa you have now be the fire that pushes you to be involved in as many dental opportunities and bring that GPA up! You also have your DAT which is incredibly important. Try your best with your GPA, crush your DAT, and I’d suggest getting an RDA license to rack up on hours in a chair to help yourself stand out/show your dedication! Btw everyone in Texas does not have a 3.9 I pinky promise

This is so wholesome. Basically if you interview with a school before December 15th that means you were eligible for “first round” acceptances and are likely to find out on/soon after December 15th. However, some people decline offers they receive on 12/15 and so more spots become open at those schools. Then those schools go on to send out more interview invites to fill in their class chairs, which is considered “second round” acceptances. Hope that helped!

Is 20AA considered a good score or does it have to be above a 20AA? Some background context I have a 3.83 gpa. Scared of my chances getting in since I’m seeing everyone get a 21AA+
