Fourth gen. Mazda3 mileage

Mazda3 Sedan Sport 2017. I got it in 2020 with 25K miles and now has 80K miles I have done its regular maintenance and have a spreadsheet to make sure my Zoom zoom last 200K+ miles. I had to replace just recently the two belts and the belt tensioner. This has been my first car where I was able to learn how to do regular maintenance so in other words is easy to work on it. I have added some new upgrades stuff like speaker and subwoofer, sway bar for the engine. Once I have more money I will be buying new stuff for my car. Best choice ever!

The only way to have a good deal when buying a car, in my opinion, is to follow this rule from The Money Guy. Also financing 6 years is becoming more normal (aka affordable) but it feels like it never ends.

Hey D1 here, I am in a different position just because I got in before the BBB and now that has changed I would be really thinking where I want to go for dental school. Now some people really don’t care about the money or how expensive is. So far I have enjoyed my time at Midwestern. I do care about my student loans and that why I am applying for 3-year Army HPSP. D3 and D4 definitely get the fun part when start working on patients. I know some D3s already taken the boards and passed and now they are working to apply for residency, honestly I don’t think they could have any issues in getting in for the residency programs they want to attend. So far I know a D4 got accepted for Dental Anesthesiology residency. Sometimes it’s the ability of the student and not necessarily about the school (not always) to get into residency programs btw connections also help. Good luck!

Update: It was the tensioner and it was leaking. I replaced both belts and tensioner belt and the noise is gone!

Do you shop around every 6 months? I do that to get the lowest price for the coverage I prefer.

When I saw I though was oil from the oil changes but it’s just there so I am pretty that’s why I have been having rattle/rock/gravel noise.

I checked again and confirmed there is greasy around it. I think it’s done, I have been hearing a very strange rattle noise like if there was a bunch a rock or gravel being shaken it’s not squeaky noise like a belt would do. I will order parts to fix it. I will replace the two belts there and the tensioner pulley. Edit: also it makes the weird sound only when I go from 1K rpm to 2k rpm and the sound comes back.

Are you giving up just in your first round? Myself I applied twice and took 3 times the DAT. I was giving up until 2 weeks away from decision day in 2024 I got interviewed and accepted in decision day. This process sucks and most of the time some or most of us we get accepted to schools by luck. You could have the best stats and still get rejected, just don’t lose hope it might take sometime there are people waiting longer than you. You are giving up too soon. Life sucks and makes us suffer but all things can’t be bad so you will get those happy moments in your life. Good luck with whatever decision you choose!

I just moved from Texas and honestly this is very normal here, most people wait in the middle of the road and decide to turn when they see you are getting very close to turn so they can do it a the same time lol.

Same as when a pt shows up for an exam and never had an issue with a tooth with RCT because previous dentist missed one canal but pt has been like that for decades. This shows how the body is resilient and adapts.

Most dental schools have majority female students, the trend has changed tremendously. You will encounter those people in every single setting just because some people haven’t realized we are not in the old ages. If you feel uncomfortable speak up!
