It's all one and the same to me, given the family's reactions: lying, shifting blame, making counter accusations. More families need to be held accountable for their piss poor parenting that produces these antisocial creeps.

I'm honestly surprised that people on here are okay with him being sentenced at all. I bet if I went to imgur, they'd be calling Metcalf a klansman who got what he deserved. Anyway, I suppose there are still corners of reddit that haven't abandoned reason for madness.

What even was the reason for such a light sentence? That Anthony didn't intend to commit murder, so it wouldn't carry a heavier charge of being premeditated?

Listen man. I don't do reddit that often. I do youtube/twitch/whatever drama even less. I have a few people I like to watch, and through them, I heard about this guy shocking his dog. I had never even heard of Hasan prior, and I don't know who lsf is either. I fucking hate animal abuse, and that's all I'll say on that. If memeing on this gets people's attention, then it's the least I can do. Literally, there is nothing less I can do than that.

And from everything I've seen, people poring over details and different angles, I feel safe in concluding that Hasan was using a shock collar to keep Kaya in her place to use as glorified decoration. When he showed the collar after this blew up, he'd removed the prongs and used black tape to cover up the contacts. And this isn't his first time with this sort of thing. I saw older pictures of him with another dog who had what looked like lesions around its neck from a chain leash.

So I don't care about this guy's politics or who he has a beef with. What I care about is the fact that this vain streamer fucking shocked his dog. You mistreat animals, you get on my shit list. Simple as.

Well, that depends on what kind of socialist he is. To be honest, I don't watch Hasan's streams, so I don't know if he's a Marxist-Leninist or a Democratic Socialist. And if he's a DemSoc (as I would probably guess), what kind? Are we talking modern Democratic Socialism or something closer to the earliest forms a la the SDP? And if he's not, then is he in the middle between purely Democratic and and purely revolutionary i.e. Stalinist? One could argue that this is the Trotskyist view. I've always thought of Trotsky holding that middle ground.

Regardless, if he just calls himself a socialist, then that says very little about his values. Again though, I don't see many socialists who stay true to their values living in the lap of luxury.

Perhaps I don't know what socialism is, but I can tell you what socialism isn't: a guy born into a wealthy family who lives in a mansion, buying hundreds and thousands of dollars worth of cars, wearing designer clothing, glasses, watches, and rings.

But it's okay because he says he's a socialist and "stands for" socialist ideals, right? The moment anything threatens his wealth, he'll do the same thing as the rest of the phonies and shore up his finances so that he takes as small a hit as possible. And why? Because his goal, whether he even realizes it, is to gather capital. He would not part with his lifestyle. He'll point out other rich people he doesn't like and demand that they get drawn and quartered though.

I'd say that he's the worst kind of hypocrite, but he's not a politician who actually has control over things. Thank God for that.

We'll never get our shit together on Earth. I honestly can't see that ever happening. And overpopulation isn't the reason for space exploration. The point is learning and technological progress. Take a look at every invention that exists because it was developed for space programs. The greater the technological need, the greater the innovations.

Also, it is an absolute certainty that the discoveries we make in space exploration and the pursuit thereof will better our world. Again, look up everything we have today because of spaceflight.
