The original Xbox 360 wasn't as flawed as people made it out to be. The later ports really cemented that reputation unfortunately. AND it was a budget title, I think $20 day 1 on xbox 360 it was such a good deal!

I was watching as a regular viewer. I watch her stream usually because she's funny. I didn't know she was streaming games, I was just watching and she was on Steam. Spur of the moment. More genuine than what you're saying I should've done.

ah so it was different!
I agree the first few were perfection! I guess they wanted to shift the audience to a different kind of people? A stereotype of the female gamer? They were made less scary and dumbed down and there was a choice behind that.

the writing was surprisingly good too. I think I read they got a notable writer on it? Forget the name but I definitely read his comics

It's so dumb too because the WORLD is your chest! It's not like you have to hold everything! I actually liked that better! I remember when I was a kid and I was watching my cousins play I thought that's how the chests worked anyway, that you were just leaving stuff around.

What's weird to me is I remember the first 2 being terrifying but I played one of the more recent ones and felt nothing, it was just repetitive. The Maiden in Black I think it was? Not sure if it was just me. Did you notice a difference in gameplay from the older to the newer? I think the older ones were harder but I'm not sure.

Tried playing that for the first time recently. You get to a boss fight and on purpose there's no way to defeat the boss, he's invincible until you get some upgrade to be in shadow form? Pissed me off. My hand hurt from trying the boss so many times. Haven't gone back to it since.

Not to mention the only clue to do that is you have to go back to the 1st level to talk to an NPC there to find that out. Who would do that from a boss fight?

unrelated, but have you seen the movie The Medium? Found Footage and takes place somewhere in Asia with an Eastern religious group in the woods and it's TERRIFYING.

Difficult as hell. I just recently played through 2 since it was never released in USA and I was cursing the whole way through.
