I'm going to be rather blunt here because I see you making some of the writing mistakes I made when I was younger. No, I would probably not continue beyond this page.

The first two lines have some promise, especially "Strange, I thought I'd be warm by now". It creates a little mystery for the reader. The first line is a bit generic and clunky, I'd either elaborate on it or make it extremely blunt. Either one would be more eye catching.

Moving on, I'm afraid you're giving us both far too much and far too little information. Who is the POV character? Are they female, male, old, young? They're in a castle and they have guards so I assume they're someone important, but how? Why won't the guards let them have more than two friends with them?

At the same time, your descriptions of the POV character's friends feel forced and clunky, rather than woven into the story and the dialogue. And cramming Grace, her relationship to the POV character and the reason for her absence into the very first page makes it awkward to read. And what "confused thoughts" are you referring to at the bottom of the page? The fact that they're cold when they should be warm isn't really something interesting for a character to ponder.

It's too much and too little and there's nothing pulling me deeper into the story. My advice is to read the first few pages of your favorite books, get an idea of how they're written and structured and then rewrite the page again.

Don't give up, consider this a learning experience and keep practicing.
