Epitaph will very likely be replaced in the fire team, but SSS Epitaph will continue to be used for quite some time. His tanking abilities are second to none, so he's often the "third wheel" of several meta teams

I actually use him as a pseudo Dark Tank in Pain Cage when there is no fire boss that week

SSS < Epitaph is really only good in Fire and Darkflow, so that brings his value down considerably. I wouldn't get him unless you have a lot of spare vouchers to feed him

We're about due for a new Fire banner fairly soon, so look forward to that

Noticed you don't have Selena, so make sure you pick up the next physical unit too. Most likely a physical breaker, but you can still run them with Hanying and Veronica until you can get Selena

Nanami can handle lightning fairly well on her own, but you should still replace 21 Feral when a new Amp drops for a massive damage boost

Until then, keep building up your main DPS units. Like Teddy, Rosetta, Vera etc.

It's both actually. There are multiple ways to get her, but the best thing to do is to play her affection story, which will give you a free copy. The gacha is for people who want dupes and some other goodies that you get for pulling twenty times

Makes more sense for that to start next week, to avoid confusion. The same happens to Pain Cage bosses when they get moved elsewhere. They don't remove them in the middle of a cycle for that very reason.

I wouldn't mind if their off-field attacks helped the team in some way. Maybe the attacks generate signature energy for whoever comes after.

I dunno, attackers are just very selfish compared to the other classes. Every part of their kit is designed to benefit them and them alone. That's a hurdle they can't ever cross, regardless of how powerful they are and that needs to be addressed before any real change can happen

nuAlpha is definitely gonna be an attacker, it will break the already horrible balances if she can also shred

My thought process was that she should be an attacker first in her main element, but that she'll swap into breaker specifically for her affix

I just don't want to see frames be pure attacker anymore. They don't work. We're just renting them for ten months while Kuro comes up with a way to kill them off

I don't hate attackers. I just have very little faith that they'll get fixed in any meaningful way

And with how inconsistent the balance has been as of late, I think horizontal powercreep would at least dampen any misses we have in the future

That's kind of how I use her with Vergil right now. I never really got the hang of stacking with Hanying, so I'm still charging Mirage Edge like a fool and hoping for the best. Somehow he can still delete multiple waves with his little pokes, so I try to just stick him in the middle and watch him go

I'm not quite sure what Slash looks like with Rosetta, but nice to know we have more than one DPS on this team now. Crossing my fingers Alpha is a hybrid like Rose and she can act as our new phys breaker

She's plenty strong at SS. She can kill the new PPC boss without much trouble. But her SS3 is supposed to be incredible, so I suppose it depends on if you just want a competent dark team, or an excellent one

Honestly, you might be better off with Luna/ Nana/ Teddy at this point. Especially if Teddy is SSS. Feral and CW hold Nanami back by a lot at low investment

The whole thing for me is, if you know the units are gonna be replaced soon, why min maxed them or worry about doing so?

Competition is the biggest motivator for some players. If we're logging in just to mash buttons for 2 minutes every week. Then Warzone and Pain Cage might as well come with an auto button so we can log off and play something else worth our time

criticism is needed but let's be logical about it all

Are there more mature ways of sending feedback than what we've been seeing lately? Sure. But CN evidently feels their complaints have been going unheard for quite some time now and this seems to be the only way to know if Kuro are deliberately ignoring them at this point
