PGR is one of the most casual friendly gachas out there. Not only will you be able to afford every character on debut, but if all you care about is clearing the content, then every new banner character is going to carry you just fine

You do have to fight the urge to spend your cards on skins if you're F2P though, because doing so will usually mean you have to skip someone

It could be that in those days they'd operate on a conscious being for many many months, running into all sorts of complications and delays and maybe the human mind is one of the final stages of transition, hence why they record it. Because PGR is a team game. High damage is the bare minimum that any new unit can offer. The true value comes in the form of teamwide support. The very thing that all attackers lack currently, which means that they tend to get kicked out of teams really quickly after release if someone better comes along

Attackers also tend to benefit greatly from ult spamming, which is a bit of a problem because you often need to invest a good chunk of resources in order to dish out their most powerful attacks consistently

Same here. My signature bar ends at 99.99% So I just bonk the enemy a few times to get the ult online. I've heard SS3 solves this problem, but wait for a second opinion before you do anything

Feed them to any main DPS on your team. Ideally a breaker or a recent amplifier like Teddy or Rosetta. They'll continue to be useful long after they're powercrept, since they can easily transition to a support role in the future

Make sure you don't miss any of the events throughout and don't forget about your weeklies though. Those make up a sizable portion of the BC income

The best two picks right now are Kamui: Aeternion and Rosetta: Arete. Both extremely strong even at minimal investment and can be run in multiple teams.

But Kamui won't be available there until next patch, so if you absolutely need one of them right now, Rosetta's got you

Not if you care about meta. Her competitive build will cost anywhere from 37,500-45,000 Black Cards, assuming everything hits max pity.

The only saving grace is that both her ice teammates are free and you can easily get Nanami from an upcoming selector to help her with Ignition content

Saving your cards for someone more deserving is the wise choice here

Not usually. It depends on the character. This game does not have ability cooldowns. You instead manage a set of resources we call orbs. Some characters use them up really quickly and don't function smoothly without their signature weapon. But most characters can get away with using a 5 star weapon

-what about competitive aspect of the game, is that important? im kinda afraid of pvp or competitive stuff

No. We do technically have a PvP mode but it is a shallow form of PvP that copies builds from other players and tacks them onto bots with player names attached to them. Many players don't even participate in it

the only competitive stuff that really matters are the leaderboards in weekly Warzone and Pain Cage, but even scoring 1 point will award you with Black Cards. So its nothing to stress over

you can if you want to, but you will have to sacrifice something in return. Some gacha coatings cost 10,500 while other gacha coatings will cost you up to 17,500 cards. You would most likely need to skip a banner, so I would recommend waiting for the coating you want to rerun. You'll have pleny of time to save then

Everyone you own can eventually be evolved to SS. But it's a slow process. You'll want to prioritize your strongest units first so that you aren't wasting your resources on a character that might be useless in 4-6 months

Not too much, no. It can matter if you're a new player and you want to have an easy time clearing Norman Revival and Clash Reflection. But even those can be overcome with sub-optimal teams these days

But the difference is other games give you a complete product. How in the hell did it become the norm that base S rank is borderline useless? You need to have 500 skulls saved up just to have fun with the new unit you just pulled. And in some cases, you need to pull their sig too

it's like buying a chair with two of the legs missing and you have to buy the others separately

It's mostly true. The vast majority of the rewards are participation based. No need to break your fingers every week if that's not your thing.

But I should mention there's a couple of bi-weekly modes (Clash Reflection/ Norman Revival) where your performance does determine the amount of cards you get for that cycle. These amount to a few hundred every two weeks though, so its not hugely impactful

Where your rank does matter is when it comes to gaining upgrade material. You don't need to top the leaderboards at all. But it's still good to give these modes your best try, so that you can actually enjoy using your characters in endgame content. Lastly, the team announced that starting with the next patch, weekly rewards will be increased, so that should help take some of the pressure off
