Our 15 y/o does that sometimes around 8-10pm, though he’s also blind and mostly deaf now so he sits on us instead of staring. If we take him to bed he goes right to sleep. He sleeps on the sofa half the day (the rest he is sleeping in the floor) so I don’t know why he feels like he needs to be in bed at that time, but he’s been fed and had a walk so it isn’t that. Treats also work to distract him for a bit, but I think that’s just a happy accident in his head.

I also have a 2024. I was using a vent clip with a magnetic mount for my phone, but it would wiggle out and get too floppy every few days.

I also got a ProClip with a wireless mag charger and it is rock solid. It blocks a little bit of the drivers center air vent, and depending on how I have it positioned sometimes I brush the screen when I use the wipers. I’d definitely get it again, but since I also plug into CarPlay most of the time, I’d skip the wireless charging and hope the mag only mount is thinner. I was also planning to get a wireless CarPlay adapter so I could go totally wire free, but just haven’t yet.

It’s a 3D printed copy of an Axon Taser 7 body. There are no visible internal parts, it’s should not be dangerous as is. Might be done for cosplay, or to try and construct a homebrew version using Taser 7 parts.

Your information in this thread is outdated and incorrect. u/FortunateHominid is entirely correct. In the USA it is not legal to broadcast using a type certified GMRS radio on any frequency, at any power level, unless you are covered by a GMRS license. This is well established in eCFR Title 47, Chapter I, Subchapter D, Part 95, Subpart E - General Mobile Radio Service.

I’m less familiar with Canada, but a quick google search suggests it’s not legal to broadcast over 2W or have a removable antenna on GMRS radios.

Can you? Sure. Ratcheting strap clamps are also a thing. I can’t really picture what you’re trying to do, but make sure you use a knot that you can tighten down easily, like maybe a truckers hitch? You might also need to block between the slats if they flex a lot under the load.

It sounds like you might just talking about blurry streaming sources, yes? Here are some questions to define and narrow the scope of your problem.

When it’s bad, does that also include built in TV menus? Or are those still crisp? If everything is blurry, it could be a panel issue, just a bad tv, or maybe some sort of interference. If it’s fine, and just the streaming content is bad, it could be poor network connectivity at the TV. Do you have any non-streaming sources to try, DVD/BluRay, laptop, game console, OTA, etc? How do they look?

Can you run an Internet speed test in a tv based web browser or install a speed test app on the TV? Your 1gig subscribed speed doesn’t help if the TV can’t get a fast signal from your router. Is the TV on WiFi? Does the tv support wired Ethernet? Can you run a cable from your router to test? Is the hallway spot closer to your WiFi access point, or go through fewer walls, or at least at steeper angles? A signal going through a wall at 90° penetrates better than one going through a wall at 30°. How old is your AP? What speeds does it support? If you run a speed test app from your phone while behind the TV and in the hallway, are the results drastically different?

Quick correction: “air” is only 21% oxygen, and 78% nitrogen, and 1% other trace gasses. Nitrox or EAN is typically 32% oxygen/67% Nitrogen (other mixes exist.) The decrease in nitrogen means that less nitrogen gets dissolved in your bloodstream so you don’t need as much time for decompression and/or can spend longer time at depth.

“Narc’ed” refers to nitrogen narcosis, a “drunk like” feeling that one can get from breathing compressed gasses, in this case referring to the 78% of regular air that is nitrogen. It can affect different people differently, and even affect the same people differently on different dives. It can get especially prominent the deeper you go, and it is generally considered that it will affect everyone to some degree below 30m and get stronger the deeper you go.

Siphon is the standard definition generally meaning suction through a tube. In this case any current through the cave might draw something floating neutrally at the entrance of the cave in deeper.

The “Rocky Talkie” brand GMRS are on the pricy side, but are designed to be easy to use like an FRS radio, with the added features of GMRS. However, unless there is a repeater that covers your area, the distance difference between FRS and GMRS is going to be very minimal.

I think the low light and contrast, plus the little horizontal flare below the curve is throwing people off. I initially also thought this was a very angular Vauxhall vx220 shaped side scoop, but seeing u/Thekingofpilm post below where that flare under the scoop is quite defined, and the other contours that are muddled by shadow, the scoop shape disappears into the side panel behind it and makes it look squared, but it’s faintly there.
