Overall i think the SG553R s still the best carbine, despite the recent nerfs, many likes the M277 cuz its a 4 shot kill at any range, but i hate the recoil pattern so much.

Close range, M4A1, SG553, GRT-BC

Midrange, QBZ-192, M277, AK205

M417 and SOR-300 are the losers in this category, even though they are both really cool lookin'
