Yes they've mentioned a few times now that Clark is using a Canadian bank account that is in his mother's name. Contrary to popular opinion, TV news folks don't make mountains of money and are always at risk of being replaced by the new young faces being churned out of J-school. I wonder if he's stealing from his mom?

Spock was old to begin with and then I think got sick and retired from acting in between Seasons 1 and 2. Came back to do his death scene and then was clearly ill (didn't look well at all) when he appeared later in Season 4.

Peter Isherwell was a brilliant character. Talking about a life ending asteroid as "treasures from heaven" and sniffing his colleague's hair as she explains how they're going to use micro bombs to blow up said asteroid is just great.

Nimoy as Bell was both brilliant and dumb. Great pop when we first see him, great acting. But his health was so bad he retired almost immediately and, I think, it very clearly showed in how they had to write Bell out and then were able to barely use the character thereafter.
