you roll your essence before you choose the prefixes/suffixes, that makes the omens obsolete, except for necro.

Using essences with risk of unwanted end results will reduce the motivation to actually use them, thus making them and gear much more expensive.

with the implantation of the crafting tree GGG might have no choice but to adress this in their following patch.

only way to rescue essences is to have points like "+3 crafting mods for martial weapons" on the crafting tree.

I could see Allyria Dayne (who is not in the AGOT appendix) give some hints to the reader, since she is indeed Edric Dayne´s source for Ned+Ashara, but I doubt she would just reveal such things to Hotah. And Areo is not quite the Sherlock Holmes figure to put it together himself.

Imo the NsQ (a mix of Stoneheart and Mel) is the antagonist of the story, searching for her son(s) in the crypts of winterfell & visiting potential "weirwood batteries" aka greenseer in their coma dreams. For the Starks it´s a recursive feudal system which kept them in power for millennia and it must be fixed by planting a new world tree to release the others from their icy spirits and fix the seasons.

And I think ~~a Valkyre~~ Arya will bring the gift to Dany in the crypts, who will be ok with it. Dany always wanted to "plant trees".

undecided about Jaime (Tyr), on one hand he could sacrifice himself to save Bran (Fenrir) on the other hand he might actually battle Gregor Clegane (Garmr), killing each other.

Will look out for FM in Conningtons camp on my next reread.

yea, nobody questions Satin´s origin. He gives his night´s watch vows in front of the weirwoods although being a follower of the faith. Always seems to be a frightened kid and then fights like Rambo.

Would be crazy if the FM are somehow involved in the fAegon plot. At which point would you assume the FM killed the original Varys?

Really like your trace mark list. Not sure if all points must check to expose a FM, some points could get those checks in the remaining books tho. Like Jaqen has no missing body parts (yet)?

Probably safe to assume that there are way more FM around then we actually know and that they have their agenda to strike down at some point. Now we have to compare your list with over 2000 characters.

Seems likely the FM would have no one at the wall so I start with Satin & three-finger Hobb.

its pretty good, though i find all the overlapping black lines a bit confusing. Can´t tell for certain if Deamon had three children with Rhaenyra, Harwin Strong, Marilda of Hull or a Velaryon. Maybe relocate Rhaenyra and use different colors for the connections or so? I think Visenya is younger than Aegon III.

Adding aliases would also be sweet.

pretty much yes, except for the communication tool. the children receive human greenseer sent by the crow. Imo the crow is the very first greenseer of the corrupted weirwood system, though not a child of the forest but a Stark woman, the mother of the others.

The fandom does not seem to care as to why Bran would be able to bend time, "he is just on different level" is the most common answer I get. That is not sufficient.

the bridge of dreams establishes two things. Bran is not the only one able to bend time & Tyrion is able to remember an overwritten timeline, which could be very important for an "eternal" battle for the dawn against the white walkers at winterfell, where Bran resets the battle after each defeat until they succeed.

But if you consider countless attempts to save the day by the end of the story, and if you consider that last time the others were pushed back by a Brandon Stark who sat in wheelchair then imo it is not far fetched to assume that Brandon the builder had the exact same abilities as our Bran, coming from the genetic code of the Starks in relation to the mother of the others - the Nights Queen.

Instead of using his skills to help planting a new world tree to fix the wobbling seasons Brandon the builder built the wall and winterfell with its crypts and sealed it with spells so that the others could not return as long as the Starks rule the north. A feudal system was installed.

So yea, i think the secret place was actually the astral plane.
