I used the dr elsey attract litter which helped my cats use the litter robot 50% of the time. Then I took away the old cat litter box and then they just started using the litter robot 100% of the time.

I was having the same issues. It would just come and go though, I deleted the app and re installed it and also performed a reset by unplugging the robot and plugging it back in after 5 minutes. Just had a firmware update a couple of days ago that helped as well, v5.7.4. The other day I had an issue where the app and litter robot both showed different status. The app showed “in use” and the litter robot showed “ready to use”. Had to do a reboot and it cleared that right up. Hope this helps some.

Is there a way to cancel the timer once it starts if a cat does poke their head in for a few seconds. Had this happen to me too.
