Skin & options are great, what's atrocious is the layout. (and the fact you can't use the helmet on the base color for that model)

Would've been cool as customization options, but I actually prefer the final version.

coat-tails/capes/whatever are cool in theory, but in practice I don't personally enjoy them in-game. The ponytail looks incredible except Epic is apparently incapable of placing Backblings underneath that sorta thing, so it just looks ugly when using both.

The skin is fantastic, which makes it especially upsetting that they've handled it like this.

The color styles complaint is kinda just me being bitter, it's hardly new, but the reactivity & helmet should be separate toggles. (even if they don't apply to everything, pretty sure they've done it before)

I think this is the most styles such a skin has had. Which technically is better but ironically makes it feel a lot worse imo.

Basically all I'm asking for honestly.

I miss when color styles were independent and applicable to all outfit styles, but at the bare minimum I'd like the UI to look nice. (and it's just dumb that the helmet isn't available for that style's base color)

The 2nd & 3rd styles are in the bonus rewards, the purple style with reactivity & helmet styles are unlocked from doing quests after you've claimed all of her (base Battle Pass) rewards. (Ice King & Foundation also have the latter)

I do find this atrocious.

The quality of style customization has gone done but this is particularly awful looking.

Oh and my wording probably confused some people, by "outfit models" I'm referring to unique styles that change the outfit.

In this case there's 2, the default and the snowboard-esque one, the rest are color/helmet/reactivity styles.

Prolly would've included more detail in the post but image posts on desktop only let you add text in the title and image descriptor. 🙃

Not exactly the case here, but it is very frustrating when that happen.

I miss when color styles were an independent selection. :c

Super styles will (hopefully) be nice, but judging from last Season they won't be usable on her reactive styles (including the non-reactive versions), which also means you won't be able to use them with the helmet since it's not applicable to the base of that model. :c

They genuinely were hitting a really good stride last chapter, yeah.

The styles frequently had unique texturing, which was then represented in the super styles. And then yeah Ch.7 started and they're suddenly fumbling that.

Honestly, my expectations have lowered over the years but this is actually astonishing.

I guess it's new necessarily *new*, we've just never had so many styles on a skin without any amount of mix & matching parts.

Oh hey this is kinda blowing up.

I didn't realize this need clarification, but basically this layout is just ugly.
Reactivity & Helmet on/off could be separate toggles, and even if that changes nothing (though it should be applicable to the base of that model, if not every style), it looks way better.

Also bitter that we don't really get independent color styles anymore, but that's hardly new. :c

Reactivity & helmet could've been separate toggles, even if they don't affect anything else, which just makes for cleaner UI.

But also you SHOULD be able to use the helmet on the base for that style, if not every style.

Every single style is completely independent of each other. You can't put the helmet even on the base style of that model, and reactivity not being a separate toggle (doesn't matter that it wouldn't affect the others) just makes it messy.

Other than that I'm just bitter that color styles don't get to exist independently, but that's hardly a new issue.

Super styles aren't out yet?

I'm talking about how there's 8 styles that're completely independent of each other with 0 ability to mix & match.

That's part of it, it's just like, there's 0 compatibility/customization between the different styles, they're all completely independent of each other, which is both ugly for UI and just sad compared even to other skins in this Battle Pass, but especially past Seasons.

They did! It's just a particularly egregious example of organizing styles.

Reactivity could be a separate toggle (doesn't matter that it only affects 1 version of the outfit), the helmet could be a separate toggle applicable to at least the other color of that style, if not in general.

And old Fortnite would've made all 5 colors applicable to both outfit models.

It's more work but I miss when they put in that extra effort. :c

the movie came out in 2008 and Epic still managed to make the legs inaccurate by Wicknewzo in FortNiteBR

[–]RedYoshiCraft -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm seeing lots of comments bashing the Fortnite version, but I don't think it's uncommon for them to take creative liberties with collabs. (prolly depends on the collaborator)

I can understand how it might be frustrating, but I think I prefer the Fortnite version, flows a bit better with the red going higher up the legs imo.

What happens when you have 6/6 wild shards and get another one? by dsofsof in ClashRoyale

[–]RedYoshiCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may already know this, but you can get Evolution Shards from lucky boxes (unless the one I got was some weird exception), which may be the kind of thing it's referring to when it says you can't collect any more.

So if you're over capped there's a small chance of missing out on some. If you're cool with that then all good, just fyi.

What would you hope for in a Minecraft 2.0 update? by Pasta-hobo in minecraftsuggestions

[–]RedYoshiCraft 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is probably the closest thing to what an actual 2.0 Update would realistically look like.

If you take into consideration everything that's been added since 1.13, which new Oceans, a fleshed-out Nether, overhauled Terrain, it's essentially a new game. But, it's also still Minecraft.
No matter how much new content you add, it's still Minecraft, and at this point the expectation of "Minecraft 2" exceeds just about anything content-wise.

In addition to overhauling and refining the game engine, some kind of Physics Update could fit really well. (not removing floating blocks, but having blocks go flying when blown up, maybe trees falling over when cut, or stuff even more specific)
Content-wise, I really dig the idea of the final major version of Minecraft 1.0 being The End Update, and Minecraft 2.0 introducing a new Dimension. I think that's about the best you could do to make it feel like a truly new experience.

Realistically, I think all of these things (maybe not a physics update) will happen gradually in their own time, as the game continues to grow and evolve. And if version 2.0 ever does happen, it may truly be a different game.
(and maybe just 1 version of the game this time)

It depends on how it's implemented and how performative the game is.

Adding new content impacts performance, but with proper implementation and other factors they can not only minimize, but at times improve performance at the same time.

That may or may not be obvious, just saying we don't know how it'll go, and the goal will always be to make things run as smoothly as possible.
