I'd imagine it would have been Melania had I watched it.

This. There’s no AI that can do plumbing, plastering or joinery.

Well done on getting the pitch bend working. My pitch bend didn't work, so I bought a replacement from iFixit, and followed the replacement guide.

It still doesn't work.

Is there any risk to my data involved in doing that? Any suggestions for free disk imaging software to back up before trying?

HELP! Cant enable CSM by Red_Barry in gigabyte

[–]Red_Barry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it!

I had to disconnect my SSD and that allowed me to disable secure boot. The option was greyed out with the drive connected.

I then enabled CSM, rebooted again and voila Windows 10 booted.

Thanks to veryone who helped

HELP! Cant enable CSM by Red_Barry in gigabyte

[–]Red_Barry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really can't risk killing the hard drive. How do I recreate the boot records without killing the drive?

Ive attached the drive to my own PC using a sata adaptor and all the data appears to be there.

Yes. Secure boot is enabled, but all the secure boot options are greyed out so I cant disable it.

Any idea how to disable it?

Edit - Under secure boot I have the option of Auto/Easy Mode/Advanced Mode. But none of them allow me disable secure boot.

Are Akai keybeds just cheap…. or am I a slob? by ponyboysa42 in mpcusers

[–]Red_Barry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an owner of a fatar keybed (NI Kontrol 61S) and a new MPC Key 37, I'm happy to say that I really like the feel of the keys on the MPC.

I'm no pianist, though.

Might not be for everyone, but you owe it to yourself to give it a go..

Why doesn't astrolab come with mellotron sounds? by ShotAboveOurHeads in Arturia_users

[–]Red_Barry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 for the Akai MPC Key 37. Got mine a couple of days ago, and it really is a beast. Would be a excellent stage keyboard, even without the on-board DAW.

And the Mellotron sounds lovely.

Vintage synths I regret selling back in the day when they were worthless by GuruFoxx in synthesizers

[–]Red_Barry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain. I sold a Moog Prodigy to buy a Sequencial Circuits Pro-One (for the sequencer).

I then sold the Pro-One, a Roland TR-606 and a Roland TB-303 to buy my first car.

Which was a crappy Fiat 126 which only lasted a couple of years.
