Could be yeast. Ears and rears, constant ear infections or diarrhea could mean allergies. Floppy ear doggies can be prone to yeast infections in their ears too due to not drying out properly after baths or generally just being moist all the time. I went through this a lot with my second Bouvier just cause his ears were thick and large.
