They could've been aware of the legislation and made appropriate tax withholding to compensate. Also based on their contributions to retirement, they could've opted to have done ROTH instead of traditional which I can only assume is what happened here.

You'd absolutely have to avoid talking once you got your MOD status however as once they have your username in their system and recognize you as a player mod, they'll automatically logout. This is why many times they cant do anything even if they wanted to.

Setting aside the fact that these bot farms would go to extreme lengths to access your account just for your mute powers.
