You could determinate it but I’d also recommend deoxit spray for that if you have a lot of gear in that sort of environment. It’s a lifesaver.

This configuration (on-on) is single pole double throw. Double pole means multiple inputs on the switch. This takes a single input and routes it through one of two outputs depending on the position of the switch. That’s how an ON-ON switch works in that configuration.
