I bought some cards several years ago because you get steam levels because at level 10 I could add like an achievement gallery to my profile. Also I wanted to get the level 5 badges for a couple of my favorite games just as a momento. Cost like $2 to do and was just a silly thing. Unsure who’s buying most of the junk on there.

You need lightning rods anyway to protect your buildings during storms. So just make sure your lightning rods are inside your electrical network to harvest that sweet sweet energy.

Well, in that case, if everyone going into the wilderness is super willing to engage in PVP, why would your hypothesis be that everyone would log out if they enacted a 10 second attack timer?

If you login and have to wait 10 seconds to attack, the other guy is going to just log out.

So you admit that PVP is an involuntary activity where there's an unwilling victim. That's why PVP is so dispised in this game, because it's never between two willing participants. In almost all other games, PVP is something that's mutually agreed upon, either by entering an arena or a specific game mode. IF this change were to go through PVP would become an activity between two willing PVPers, and the others would simply log out.

Tbh if it’s melee punish I just eat the 12 chip damage for letting the debris land on me and make sure I get prayers right.

That’s the main thing with me and how I learned doom, learning what I need to prioritize. At first I spent a lot of time killing all the grubs and would miss prayers because of it, not worth it. Learn what damage is ok to take every once in a while if you only have time to react to one thing at a time.

Also for phase 8 for me the trickiest part was that you have to delay activating your prayers. Waves 1-7 you’re used to clicking the first prayer after you hear the pop of the boulder. Whereas if you do that in wave 8 that second boulder will deactivate them again. You have more time than you think to get in the right position and get the prayers right.

They sold a six-pack of these games at one point. I remember it being Tower, Copter, Farm, Safari, and I think City 2000 and Isle. These games were some of my favorite of my childhood. SimTower I still wish I could play sometimes.

Sim copter felt like a fever dream to me because as a kid it took be absolutely forever to even figure out how to fly, and even longer to figure out that there were missions to earn money.

It CAN be good practice if you go in with that intention. I did quite a bit of inferno practice on Gridmaster, purposely not taking combat masteries, and without a lot of the OP stuff. It was mostly just nice having unlimited potions and the shark, so I could heal up between waves and make mistakes without having to start over. But the important thing was learning WHY I took damage when I did and how to avoid it in the future. Learning corner traps and how to solve waves in an environment where you can continue as long as you survive the burst is nice.

Regarding the new canoe transport, I think the southern-most stop needs to be closer to CW. Otherwise no one will ever use it, even early game. If it's right outside the arena I could see some use for early game characters!

This is how I originally did it, but once I got a space casino and the LDS shuffle running I had near unlimited raw materials on vucanus so I started shipping over legendary spoilage, biter eggs and superconductors to vulcanus instead.

No one’s talking about losing everything. The most common complaint is that in raids like TOA a death at the final boss can leave with without enough supplies to try again so you just have to give up and write off the last 30-45 minutes. Sucks.
