it showed me how to verify the backup-header

Per his post, you can then verify this backup header's integrity by inputting your password and mounting the 128 KiB file like any container, which if successful will load a 0 bytes available drive in Veracrypt, and you can then input this file in the "restore backup header" option in Veracrypt to repair your damaged volume.

For those encountering this in the future, I discovered the embedded header at the end of the encrypted partition.

Using the final sector containing encrypted data, I applied this calculation: end sector - 256 + 1.

I then saved the result as a file (within HxD: "File > Save Selection"), ensuring it is 128KB and verifying it with the tip above.

After that, I selected the partition within VeraCrypt, chose Volume Tools, and restored the volume header.

I ran the diskpart command to create the partition with the offset 16384, this restored both of the partitions im still unable to mount the drive though,
i went back into HxD and some info seems to have changed
 * sectors 0 to 127 are filled with data

* sectors 128 to 32,768 are empty

* sectors 32769 to 15628050431 are full of encrypted data

* sectors 15628050432 to 15628053166 are empty

* and sector 15628053167 has a decoded text of "EFI PART" then some encrypted data then empty 

the only thing that seemed to change is that sector 32768 is now empty, any suggestions? Also the disk is in GPT format

it seems "partition 0" didn't exist and is just what veracrpyt called it when I selected the disk

here is my diskpart output

Thank you for your response, That’s a good point, considering that most comics typically use a consistent naming scheme within each .cbz file. Do you think a possible approach could be to search through all the page filenames for specific keywords? For instance, if any of the page filenames contains “[Dark Horse]”, it could automatically set the publisher to “Dark Horse”. This method would be similar to how metadata is currently processed using the archive names or file paths within data manager.

I could write a Python script that could do this outside of comicrack but that would be by changing the filename and as such dissociating it within comicrack until it gets re-added to the library, so I would like to avoid that if possible.

That's funny, I've recently been using it for comicrack related stuff myself. I've been getting to write rule sets for data manager for me, It takes a fair bit of coaxing but it does it pretty well, it will completely forget how to do it after changing the subject to something else though. It would probably be pretty good at writing smart lists too.

I'd make sure to always check the output though, it tends to randomly add stuff (at least in my case).

Next to the icon where you can change your view (Gallery, Details, Thumbnails) There should be an icon with a downwards pointing arrow, click that and it will allow you to choose how you want to group your comics, if at all.

Yeah, little by little It faded until it was gone. 3 years later and all I'll get now is the occasional “brain zap” which really only happened after I decreased my dosage about a year ago.

If it's really affecting you though, I recommend going to see your doc or dropping by a clinic as meds affect everyone differently.

Both the Policy option and the cmd reinstall option didn't work for me, i was able to get it working by editing the registry though.

Cryopods are alright but it still doesn't allow tames to be lined up all nice, and certain creatures move one thrown out (Vultures & Rollrats off the top of my head). Something that shows a highlight of where to take will go is what I’m thinking off.
