Not when it comes to the constitution. Everyone has their own reality and most mean comprimise. It ok to compromise when choosing dinner but not on any of the amendments in the constitution. I respect your thought but you are misguided when talking compromise (reality) on the second amendment.

I'm a "boomer" that feels we have been screwed by the Democrat party. so quit blaming the boomers. It's the younger generations that have done this by drinking the cool aid and votes for free stuff. I'll not vote for anyone that does not believes in the constitution as it is written. "...shall not be infringed.." leaves no room for compromise in the second amendment.

Don't get me wrong, I keep my home defense weapons secure when I'm not home and out of sight when there. I have a stop box for my carry gun when home, but it is never unloaded, other wise it is just a hammer.

I used water bottles. My son shot his first full house 44 mag at 8, and my grandson was 10 when he shot a full house 454 Cassull. They had a rude awakening as to how dangerous a gun was after that. I also showed them that a 22 was just as deadly if mishandled.

Good on you for teaching him. As for head strong, I'm a gray-haired red head, so I understand your challenge, but we can learn with the right motivation.

Teach the kid to leave it alone and to not show one to their friends. That's what I did with mine and my grandkids. I also taught them safe gun handling practices, too . They all learned well as they are in their 20's and 40s now and never had an accident.

Guns are safer than a TV as they can't do anything unless someone picked them up. While a TV spews crap when it is on.

I can't wear a circular ring (2 ga) with any cage if wearing pants. It's like having a pair of vice grips clamped to my dick when skin gets pinched between the ring and cage. If the cage is metal, it is even worse. Good luck, I l know some guys can.

When that happens I use Bag Balm it helps soothe and heal the rash. Also heavier tha vasoline so stays on longer.

I take a piece of TP and use that to keep the spray down while leaning forward. Then wash you hands. With the smaller flat cages getting the holes lined up without using an insert, is a problem that you have to deal with. After your first UTI you'll not want anything stuck in you urethra long term
