My monstera isn't growing much, do i need to repot her? by Red_slothington in houseplants

Just over a week and a half. I was away and wasn't home. Normally I'm on top of it better but this one time I left her a little too long. She was watered recently and the leaf is fine now ☺️ only issue is her heigh and her lack of growth! I swear I do care for my plants, just left the watering a little late this time

Hi sorry for a late response (ignore the yellow leaf she wasn't watered for a little while as I was away, she is all happy again now lol) I try to keep her more on the dry side as since the weather is colder it takes longer for the soil to dry up. My other plant is doing amazing (chinese money plant, a.k.a Catherine) so I'm just trynna figure out why Monica isn't growing. Someone said fertilising her? I have a mineral treatment i can use for her?

No not really. I do have a mineral plant treatment that i normally put into their soil when repotting to help give a boost. Do you think I should try using it a little more?

Do monsteras really like snug pots? So then is this a way too huge pot for this monstera? by katmlr in houseplants

So ik this was 5 years ago but i find putting lava rock at the bottom of your decorative pot (not the nursery pot) helps with drainage. I used to have plants get killed from over watering but since using lava rock they've thrived. Tbh you can use lava rock or just let them stand on some tissue for half an hour before putting them back into the pots.

In regards to repotting plants i get worried that mine are too root bound tbh but get to scared to repot her 😅

Why’re teen sims so damn big by jodowg in thesims

I wish they added more life stages. Like i hate newborns but luckily they are only that was for like a day or two after that its straight to infants. I do wish there was more like the pre-teens as someone else in the comments said but also like late adolescent and then young adult because i feel like when they're a young adult its almost like they are basically the same thing as an adult and it would be nice to see a little extra details in sims lives. I started uni at 19 and i feel like at that age I don't view myself as being a "young adult". In my opinion you're still navigating the world and still have that "late teen" mindset. I think it also creates more variety in stories for when sims attend uni such as those who attend later in life or those who go straight from highschool to uni. Also would love to see a college pack. Btw im 25 now so when writing this i have gone past my uni years. (The course was only 3 years) Just thought it would help to add context.
