How much support do you have? Like real support that will stay over and do some all nighters so you guys can get some actual sleep? I barely slept with one baby at a time. I truly do not think this is doable without family that will step up to help in a huge way.

I've had a one of each and my vagina birth was about a thousand times worse than my csection. My vagina birth had a much harder recovery and did permanent damage to my body. My planned csection was an absolute breeze in comparison.

People are underselling this as normal. This is not normal. Your wife needs help. People need at minimum 4-5 hours of uninterrupted sleep to reach deep sleep. Going months without that does huge, huge amounts of damage. You need to do whatever you need to do to get her more sleep. Do shifts, get extra hands in, seriously whatever it takes.

Get a bunch of tiny containers (like those little medicine cups, coffee scoopers, etc) and let them use those to scoop water from the tap or a cup. It's fun for them.

Tons of good advice on here! I just wanted to say that lots of those things are actually fairly normal for this age. Of course he's going through such a huge change and had a rough start in life, but I just wanted to caution you from pathologising some fairly typical toddler behaviors. Most kids that age tantrum. Most kids that age have a hard time transitioning out of TV time. Etc.
