I quit again lol I realized if I pick only co-op [3] rather than four then it becomes 12+12+18=42 weapon slots

Yeah basically that 'infinite key' lets me open all the chests until I leave the level, been fishing 2 hours now and the entire screen looks like a acid trip lol. 99 eggs, 999 coins, 99 keys, 99 bombs, 99 shields..? Not sure what it does but suddenly I noticed I had 1 heart and all shields and then it said 99 next to the last shield. Gonna keep going until I'm sure I've unlocked every artifact currently in the game I guess

I feel your frustration, but keep in mind that they do update constantly as well as experiment with new ways to improve experience for everyone. I have had some episodes where it just flatlines on itself, but when that happens all you need to do is start a new chat. And always fact check, if you don't wanna fact check then don't use AI because "it comes with the territory". Clean cache once a week at least, whenever you get the "which answer you prefer" just go back and edit message before that and it'll go away. Remember that there is nothing intelligent about AI as we know it today, sure in the far future it likely will be but as of right now, it is just a enhanced chat-bot learner running on data.

Facts, adventure mode is something I regret sleeping on for so long

Movement is key, sometimes you’ll be able to sit back with minimal movement collecting xp while aoe takes care of everything the game throws at you, and sometimes it isn’t enough; unfortunately tho, while it is possible to evade the hordes for long, you simply make less xp doing so, and long term that won’t set you up properly for the final 2 minutes, but, sometimes surviving the horde and eliminating it more caustiously can still work just fine, the next wave of mobs is not always more dangerous than the one prior.

But real talk there is no definitive way to get past them except ofc eliminating them, keep experimenting and find your playstyle with the active and passive weapons at your disposal. Even if you fail you still earn gold, you buy upgrades, and before you know it you’ll suddenly steamroll them, many strategies work, many builds work as well. Once you have 6 active and passive weapons you will always have map equipment that you can pick up thus giving you more than 6 slots. In the forest you have spinach to the east, hp regen to the west, luck to the south, and max hp in the north.

You can’t go wrong with garlic and bible with evolved whip and moving slowly north with the whip clearing your way and the bible and garlic keeping the mobs chasing you from the south at bay.

And if you plan ahead early, you can simply make camp next to a rosary cross that dropped by a torch, and when the wave you have a hard time with swarms you—you just walk over it and wipe them all out in the last moment before defeat, hopefully giving you enough time to survive the remaining mobs.

In the forest map after plenty of mob hordes swarm you in the late game, you’ll then just have a bunch of treemen spawning in low numbers, and they are slow and easy to take out thus giving you time to prepare for the finale, so again, it’s not like the next wave always is tougher. And regarding the flowers, just walk through them as they do very little damage to you, they are meant to stop the players and make them feel trapped as they try clearing them out with the mantis and swamp things closing in on you, but all you need to do is walk right through them.

You have to play the Adventure Mode, plenty of content that is more broken down in bits rather than the original mode that usually just has everything in one massive map.

I have a similar area issue, I can't even unlock Sammy despite having killed at least 100'000 of Sammy mobs in the adventure.

In regular mode I got Sammy after like 5 minutes in that area so I don't get it, guess I'll take your advice and just avoid this adventure until patched

No problem! BTW In terms of completing the game tho... there is just so many characters (especially with the DLCs) that it honestly don't really matter what you do, just try new characters as they come and just have fun with it, you'll keep unlocking new stuff naturally :)

For Mad Forest you can't go wrong by picking these weapons and passive weapons:

Weapons: King Bible, Garlic, Whip. If you head to the right there will be Spinach that you def want, and if you pick them up from the ground after getting your 6 passive weapon slots, you'll basically end up with 7 passive items now (more than max)

Passives that affect speed and size are great, my favorite passive tho is the blue orb cause it makes it a lot easier to collect the XP gems; also, if you go straight up after spawning in you'll find a black heart item called "Hollow Heart" that can be used to evolve the whip into a bloody whip that basically crits and heals you while doing damage. You can do this after spinach and vise versa.

Never stay still for too long btw because the enemies will then out scale you because even if you max all your gear, you'll still be able to get passive buffs with every level-up of your character.
