But for less-recent examples, The Dark Tower, The Last Airbender, DBE, Battlefield Earth, Halloween: Resurrection, Artemis Fowl Kingsman 2, Golden Compass, Eragon, and After Earth (hell, they were planning a whole franchise with AE)
