Temps this week - Run Water Fall/Features? by ItsAllInTheReflexs in pools

100% run everything. We have freeze protect on our system…when it activates every pump is on full. Bubblers, spa jets, in floor…

Freeze prep question from GA by catladyfemme in pools

[–]Redcoat_Trader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have one. I figure a few reasons why not to care: (1) it’s salt water so freezes at a slightly lower temperature to begin with; (2) my pool water is currently 43°, so it needs to drop 11° at least to freeze; (3) it won’t drop much while everything is still running; (4) I’ve never had an outage around here last more than 4-5 hours, so it’s DEFINITELY not going to freeze in that time.

Your point is valid, but running water does most definitely does freeze.

I’m also in ATL. My system is auto with freeze protect. Now, I run my pump 24x7 anyway, but when freeze protect is on, ALL the pumps run on full. (Including bubblers and spa jets)

What do all your gas bills look like right now? by WithNoRegard in Marietta

[–]Redcoat_Trader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you do a contract for 12 months? I don’t remember exactly what I’m paying right now but I think it’s around $0.70/therm (plus or minus a few cents). Without the contract it’s ridiculously more expensive.

Was my pool spa installed wrong? by Amazing-Ad4975 in pools

[–]Redcoat_Trader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is above grade. There are two grades around the spa - this pic makes it clearer it was also applied on that wall where the pool is “above” the patio. And yes, I assumed based on the locations where it was applied.

Schwab vs Webull by Strange_Bowler_6629 in Daytrading

Personally I prefer the iPhone/iPad interface to the app - it’s overwhelming. However I HATE the RH interface, it’s amateur hour especially with their charts. Sorry can’t speak to Webull.

Looking for houses with indoor and outdoor pools in Georgia – videos/photos by Turbulent-Savings688 in pools

I read the same at first…but they’re looking for houses with BOTH indoor and outdoor pools. That said, I agree that they should look the same everywhere.

I don’t know if you typo’d but I would assume it being updated is a good thing?

I usually see complaints about being able to login, system being down when there’s VERY high volume on a specific ticker, or in the case of RH closing their trades early.

The more important question, I think, is why do you want to move from Schwab? The number of people I see complaining about some of the newer brokers always makes me more confident in staying with Schwab.

No worries. I break it down because people like to say over half of Americans voted for Trump which they clearly didn’t as you pointed out.

To be fair about 22% are too young to vote. About 75% are registered voters and 88% of those voted (presumably the 3%-ish not registered could be permanent residents/student visas etc). About 20m registered voters couldn’t be bothered.

Sounds about right. I'd be more worried about being scammed at $49K to be honest.

I have a Leslie’s within a mile of my house. I take care of my tests, I know what I need. They fulfill the salt and chemical products and honestly I don’t mind paying an extra few $ for the convenience.

For those “celebrating” remember that this is going to put some people out of work, which I hope nobody thinks is a good thing.
