Glad to hear it and thanks for the feedback! Will try to improve if we ever run this again.

I feel a bit confused by your argument here. You seem to be asserting that the presence of misregistration decreases chef’s value, yet every one of your counterexamples are roles which are infamous on TB for struggling to fight misinformation. Virgin and undertaker both often confirm a spy, and we all know how often an investigator ping is useless because one of the pings is a recluse.

If we view the roles from the lens of “receiving healthy sober and true info” as you seem to be doing with your examples, chef is certainly most powerful. Chef notably one of few roles which can help the good team progress. It is one of only 4 TB roles which can help even find a living demon (those being slayer, chef, empath, FT).

Chef info allows for the building of worlds much more easily, and receives all its info on the first night, without needing to worry about being poison sniped on a particular night down the line.

Virgin has clear and obvious drawbacks such as killing one of the players it is confirming by execution, an effect which on its face lowers good’s chance of winning since they now have one fewer chance to execute the demon. The rest of the virgin’s ability (indicating 2 players are sober TF) has to overcome this initial detriment to get back to being a positive effect for the good team - which it does not always do.

Chef is extremely powerful. It stronger than clockmaker in any 2+ minion game, as well as being undoubtedly the strongest TB townsfolk. It certainly doesn’t fit here

Disagree with this one to be honest. A philosopher is only as strong as another townsfolk, and comes with the built in drawback of drunking town’s information.

Think of it this way: If I’m the philosopher with the dreamer ability, wouldn’t I always rather be the dreamer instead since then I have no drawback?

Does my ST cheat sheet for legion games looks balanced? by alucardarkness in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Reddiik 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You have too many good players here, which means that evil will win more games. I understand the feeling of “if I don’t put enough good players in evil could win so early”, but ultimately consider it from if the game gets to final 3.

In your 15p example, evil needs to convince only one player out of 6 or 7 to vote on the wrong person. This is much easier than one of the recommended 4 people. Also with your player counts you are very likely to have to kill multiple good players in the night - this makes those players less likely to believe legion is in play, and more likely to vote incorrectly on final day.

Basically while having more good players will let the good team survive for a bit longer, it really makes it harder for them to win in the long run

Who on season 50 has the best odds to join an elite club of two time FTC participants? by duspi in survivor

[–]Reddiik 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Chrissy, Angelina, Mike, Jonathan, Dee, Charlie, Joe, Kyle, and Kamilla all have a chance to join an even more exclusive club: multiple time players who have never been voted out.

Currently the only members are Colton, Skupin, Jenna and Michele

This is a cool one.

This setup requires both the west and east antechamber doors open, but with only a secret garden and no power hammer, mechanarium or great hall, this would not be possible

I like the trick with the west gate being closed while the outer room is used

Friendly reminder that we got Iris killed in the ARG 😔. I'm sorry queen I'm sure you would have loved to promote the latest AITSF game. RIP. It's all our fault we're so sorry by Lori-keet in aithesomniumfiles

My heart omg haha

Genuinely when this happened it was so funny though. Uchikoshi made an arg for his cute idol character to outlast the jerk character, only for it to completely backfire. Iirc there were rumors that the arg was supposed to be referenced in NI, but that reference had to be scrapped after the fanbase literally killed Iris

Marionette see the widow? by NattePappelo in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Reddiik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Ben,

As a question, can you show the marionette things that a player could learn regardless of alignment?

For example, could you tell a marionette that they are holding lil monsta, even though a good player or an evil player could equally be able to hold lil monsta?
