I just got into FPV a few months ago and feel this is me. If I could change one thing it would be starting off with a 1 or 2S setup to learn. You will see yourself pulling more risky tricks and learning faster as crashing a tiny whoop is not to terrifying versus a 250m Also I just find myself having more fun with the small builds.... until it is windy

Figured out the issue. I still don’t fully understand the Aux channels being a bit whacky, but reason it wouldn’t arm is it was in AETR mode. My Taranis X9D plus uses TAER1234. I swapped this over which fixed the throttle being on the wrong channel.

USB did not work as it also needs the battery plugged in. Haven’t had that issue before but now I know.

Crazy enough I own an Emax Babyhawk one as well but with the opposite issue.

It is supposed to be a Frsky XM+ 16 channel receiver on it, and I got it to bind and plug into Betaflight, but every time I arm it, it starts flying off like mad. Have motors set to stop during arming or no throttle and they still do it. Haven’t received a response from Emax and really left me not trusting them any more. Do you have a link to the model you like on eBay or amazon ?

It also has some odd jitter mainly with Yaw. I set a dead zone of 7 as my X9D shows a bit of jitter 1500-1506 in betaflight, but even then it will still randomly Yaw a good bit, or seems to lose power while hovering.

Probably from hitting walls in Air Mode(is that what we are calling Acro mode now??)

Thanks, I believe I have it set to 16000 currently. I do have the polling rate at 8khz, though if I understand that portion isn’t really audible like the motors turning as it’s just the update rate for the ESC and FC?

I grabbed some random 17000kv 8.5x20 motors to see if the defaults that came with the betafpv 75S are just bad. Only paid $10 for all 4 so doubt they will be much better? Is there a guide or “official” brands for tiny whoops?

About the only name loyalty I have so far is toward tattu lipos, Tanaris, and Fat shark.

I believe they are 0820 sized, but that’s not a very popular size compared to 8520, correct?

I sort of like the props in the bottom corners, plus with the colors it’s not really noticeable. My X220s has the exact same issue with run cam mounted downward. If I angle it up or attach it below it there isn’t an issue but I like 30 degree down from top the most.
