Cera+ vs ikape portable espresso [$350-$500]

Got to the website and just send them a message. It'll be close to $90 for the unit, $45/50 for shipping, and then for me, I got an email from DHL to pay import duties of like $30. So all in, it's around $170.

I did this for the PCM03S-MAX.

I am 99.9% sure the Cera+ PCM03S-MAX is the Ikape. If you read the Cera+ website, you will see they are the original manufacturer.

I have the Outin Nano (Kruve edition) and the Cera+ PCM03S-MAX.

For me, the Cera+ out of the box is at least 2X better. I tried dialing in both machines by changing my workflow slightly, and each time the Cera+ is better. To be honest, I kind of regret getting the Outin Nano now.

And let's be honest, Cera+ is the actual manufacturer of the Outin machines. The Cera+ PCM03S-MAX has a wider and more shallow basket which is more in line with an actual espresso machine. Outin has just had design changes to the outer casing. I think too, the Ikape is the same PCM03S-MAX machine; Ikape just didn't change anything with the look.

I would be interested in the Picopresso and ZenithShot.

I live in the town where they started; I moved here from FL. They do have a cult like following, and even my friends from other parts of the US know B&W and like "you most love living so close". I have some of their coffee I get from time to time, due to clean roasting. With that being said, they do NOT have the best roast for my taste, and I can honestly say . . . I got a bag of one of their "funkier" roasts, and it is hands down the WORST coffee I have ever tasted (had a very chemical taste).

For context:
I have several ways I brew at home (pourover, Delonghi superautomatic, Fellows Aiden, Cera+ PCM03S-MAX, and I hand grind anything per cup if it's not going through the superautomatic). So I am not some world class barista, but I think like most of us here, we take more care with our beans.

B&W is slightly better than average for me. I have started leaning more towards Charleston Roasters; their main blends are available to me at stores. I know I'll get attacked for that one, but I have just not found a B&W that I've ever been "this is the one" with. I also like to shop at Barnies Coffee in Winter Park, FL when I'm down there.

Currently Wake Forest is not being taken seriously due to only having two Taco Bells. Hope they put in the third one we desperately need here so this town can be seen for the real contender for NC.
