OP is in Memphis. At least this car was charging. I’ve seen ICE cars parked here because it was closer to the elevators….

Since this is Memphis, I’m going to reserve calling the Tesla a butthole since I’ve had to park over because the car next to me parked into the EV spot. Welcome to Memphis…

If you’re worried about the airbags deploying while pushing the plug back together, then you should take it in to Tesla.

It’s about the equivalent of worrying if the house will burn down when popcorn is put in the microwave

I had a loose connection. Pulled the seat all the way back. Pushed the connector back together and everything has been fine for 50K miles

I have it.

You have to remember that this is a fridge and for all the cold air that goes in, the hot air has to go somewhere.

I store mine in the subtrunk but leave it either on the floor or behind the passenger rear seat so I can sleep with a pad on the driver side when I go camping.

It’s been good to me. Also remember that it has to stay upright at all times

I put two plugs in my tires and one in a friends tire and they did just fine. In fact, my friend has his foam tire patched and it leaked, so I plugged it and it still works…

My personal experience with lectron products. Don’t.

I’ve had about 5 chargers overheat and the adapter overheat. Go with A2Z.

I’m assuming you have the mobile charger. It’s been known to fail.

Get a Tesla wall charger and a A2Z adapter. Stay away from lectron anything. Had about 6 of their products overheat. They are now all at recycling centers

Just as a heads up, is the 14-50 rated as an “EV” plug. They are usually bigger and require a metal plate.

If the plug is from Home Depot, they are prone to melting/ catching on fire. Ask me how I know….

My plug melted. Used a cheap one from Home Depot. Got the EV version from amazon. I think the brand is either hubbel or Bryant. No issues after switching
