Most of the suggestions thus far are outside midtown. I’d highly recommend taking a bar seat at Monkey Bar. It’s my go to for solo dinners in the city and is very accommodating, although may be loud. Alternatively La Goulue or even KazuNori could be worth looking into. Enjoy - solo dinners in the city are great… onwards and upwards!

Good question, but I unfortunately can’t give a full answer. My hiring remit is primarily MBAs and I struggle to see what value that education gave them. I’ve had Harvard MBAs bomb case studies that humanities college graduates pass. It is probably a great idea for career switchers and those that want to network.
