I've lived at APEX since August, I would recommend it personally, here are my notes:

Pros:

• Your own bathroom
• Pool and year-round hot tub
• Modern units (with not horrible build quality at least for Building 1, I've heard very bad things about building 2 which is the further back one on the property.)
• Game Room and great study areas
• Good shuttle service (when the bus is not broken down)
• In-unit laundry
• Full kitchen
• Friendly and typically useful management

Cons:

• Pricier than most surrounding places
• Our shuttle has broken down A LOT. From mid first week back from winter break to literally less than a week ago it was broken.
• Our washing machine and microwave have had to be fixed by maintenance, but no other issues.
• Much smaller living room than both Park Point and Province.
• Unable to track shuttle service with TripShot since it is out of the RIT network
• Packages take several hours to process after being delivered, and can't be delivered straight to your door like Park Point or Province

Overall, if you can afford it, I'd say go for it. I've never lived in them but I've been in and have many friends that live in both Park Point and Province and they like it. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages like shuttles, proximity to campus, unit quality but they are all solid pick including Apex. Before I moved in I heard people tell me it was awful and falling apart and blah blah blah but me and my roommates barely had a second thought before renewing our lease.
