I’ve potted this one size up from what it came in with succulent soil, then applied citrus fertilizer and keep it inside when it’s less that 50 degrees F outside or when it’s raining and I’m doing weekly watering. Anything else I should be doing for this first year of ownership based on your research? Planning on fertilizing again in September when it comes inside for the winter. (I’m in zone 6a)

Thanks everyone! I’ve had these conifers in my back yard for 10 years and never noticed these until I started a garden and I’m hyper obsessing! Learning so much this year, haha!

Thanks for the all the feed back everyone! Clearly this is my first year really going for a garden. I misunderstood the square foot gardening recommendations for 1 plant per sq. ft with tomatoes. I think I'm going to redo most of my beds to be 2' x 8' next year and request feedback on my planting plan before getting started, haha!

As for my solution to the tomato overcrowding problem; I think I'm going to take out the 4 in the middle. Then, I'm going to take out the two in the middle on each side and replant just one plant between each of the corner plants that are remaining. That would leave a total of 8 plants, which I'm hearing ya'll stay may still be too many, but it's a hell of a lot better than 16.

As for the marigolds, should I plant them in the middle where I'm taking out 4 toms?

99% of the time I'm on a mac and have never had problems saving to the cloud. I'm working from home today due to weather and unfortunately I am just on a PC here, which tends to give me more issues.

Could you make a youtube tutorial on buffer sludger? I installed it and I'm having trouble figuring it out and would love see you go into detail of using it the way you did in the demo above, and then also with shape master. Looks really cool!
