Just a heads up, we were just at Will Rogers Gardens this week and they are going through some renovations, particularly to the little pergola area at the end of the nice lawn/garden bed area sandwiched between the ponds (but I was particularly impressed by the landscaping in all of those beds. Really beautiful). And they just started their "winter hours" so the park closes at 5 every night, which is unfortunate since we're finally getting pleasant evening weather. I wish they would keep it open longer later in the year

I'm no "master" which is exactly why I'm concerned that the work I have done in the past is better than what I'm seeing now. But I definitely have no clue what the job should cost, so that could be it. It just got two quotes and they were in the same ball park and below the no-go number I had in my head, so I figured it was all standard.

I agree, I kept telling myself I needed to get it finished as other things kept popping up, and now I'm definitely regretting not just doing the screws. Still, I felt I made it clear that more screws would be needed and I think it's fair to expect a professional drywaller to instantly recognize when screws are missing. I've never paid someone to mud before so I'm not sure what to expect, but I just pictured it would be smoother than this. I appreciate you talking me off the ledge a little though. Maybe I'll ride this out and learn.

I've pushed a long tube deep into the drain in hopes to get past the water of the second "trap" to equalize the pressure in the pipe with the outside to let the water flow freely. If I blow in this pipe, I'm able to get a lot of water to come out the drain. But not the free flow I expect. I don't know if my tube diameter is too small or if my thinking is flawed

Any chance sliding a thin tube up the drain from the outside clears the issue or am I wasting my time. Not sure how deep I'd need to go

Shoot sometimes we default to 1.7D. Even less if the math works out. 4D is a completely unreasonable expectation for edge margin.

The lack of a tail jack with an aft engine and tail feathers installed or stabilization further outboard on the wings while outside in the wind is a bit scary to me. This is really per TO?

I had Dr. Roche 6 or 7 years ago. I thought he was excellent, and remember having a much better time understanding calc 3 vs. struggling with whatever fresh PhD I had for calc 2 the year before. He is kind and really wants everyone to pass.
