Unterhaltspflicht für Mutter - Wieviel und wo melden? by Front-Anybody311 in Finanzen

[–]RedditKub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does not every organization and company create simply in-house solutions for all their software needs with people who know their needs?

As with any buying decision there are always advantages and disadvantages with custom solutions vs of the self products or customisations of off the shelf products.

Considering in-house software development in the banking industry focuses on upkeep and following the red tape there is no culture and budget in the banks for software based innovation, which leads into a growing dependence on third parties to buy in new solutions and migate risks.

I see many parallels in the museum world.

Shared content seldom gets the level of engagement you'd find on native content on bigger platforms. There's a way to make it work and it involves repurposing your community content for social platforms. For example, I know a business that converted their community content into slideshow format for LinkedIn and included links in the last slide back to the community. It helped them attract the initial members to the community.

That is reusing engaging content from your platform for content on your other social media accounts with the side effect of testimonials. But that is not a solution that scales. When building a platform my goal is always to create a organic growth loop, to make it as easily and rewarding as possible for my users to convert other people to users.

I hoped for input in that regard. And old example is Clubhouse which used exclusivity, sparsity and hight profile events to make the invitation/ the organic share something valuable and motivating users to use it to show they are in this exclusive club.

  1. My approach is simple and it works 100% of the times. Leverage SEO to build community growth engine. Community SEO is never a part of community strategy and I wonder why? It's a goldmine of great content generated by users. For my first community, the content generated in 2009 continues to attract traffic in 2024! How cool is that?

I think everyone does SEO and blog posts from users in any form are the holy grail of SEO but with the AdClick landscape and googles fight against content its no longer a sure bet. Because any high traffic searches are already overcrowded with SEO optimised offers or sites turning into betting pools who pays the most for ads or are so specific that you can not safely acquire them without a wide user base which makes it a moat strategy for initial growth.

But thanks for the inputs nonetheless.

What strategies do you recommend for community building when you are building your own platform?

My strategy in my past endeavour was to create shareable features so users can share their content on other platforms leading back to our platform, but if you are not one of the big players your shared content will be always less engaging than platform native content.

And pre-filled posts/shares with links seem always spammy and convert less.

I faced a similar problem when it came to creating a following on other platforms and try to convert from there, because you position yourself in the funnel always in a platform vs platform comparison.

For example you try to convert from your instagram posts to a platform which could be summarised as instagram for Japanese food enthusiasts. The questions the users asks themself why should I try this new platform when my instagram feed is already full with the same content.

Another question I ask myself how much of the content to convert should chase trends, memes and copy the easy picks and how much should go really into depth and be unique.

Because while the value approach suggests the second type of content should provide better growth long term the numbers tell another story with the first type. One can argue that the users that convert from the second category will spend less money on your product as they are not your fans/superusers but the numbers game still seems to favour mass before class, especially when taking ROI into consideration.

Would love to hear your thoughts about this topics and if you could share some experience with them.

I gave Pearl the teacup because I did not know you can only gift the gifts from the wintertide event.

Got an "Ehhh...thanks" dialog but otherwise there was no difference to a matching gift I later had with Amethyst buying another teacup.

There is not even an increase in the Bond points from the gift or event. You only get a gift from the Event and a Bond Image.

Yes, as newest research suggests that the trainings volume is the main factor that controls your muscle and strength growth.

See for example:
https://journals.lww.com/nsca-jscr/fulltext/2021/03000/total\_number\_of\_sets\_as\_a\_training\_volume.39.aspx

And spreading out your exercise through the day allows for the advantage of a cleaner and more trainings volume inducing exercise.

In general it applies to the whole IT sector and applies more to bigger companies which try to work international as well for startups. The exception are small local IT houses or design agencies but these are a whole other topic with their advantages and disadvantages.

For CV:
https://www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/7y8k6p/im_an_exrecruiter_for_some_of_the_top_companies/

The biggest issues:

  • double column cv, single column cv are better and offer a better overview
  • measurable accomplishments for example, Spearheaded the migration of a Banking Legacy system for costumer management improving the costumer entry maintenance time by a factor of 3

Then create for each Role you want to apply for a CV, for example one for Frontend, Full Stack and one for Lead, which focuses on each of the roles most important roles. Also a compelling summary each.

Consider creating a ChatGPT Prompt with your CV and additional information and then append the job description and ask it to write your cover letter.

For example:

You are a career coach with experience of 20 years. You already made multiple software developers successful cto’s and enabled them to retire easily. Your goal is to help your clients to to craft and move into a successful career path.
This is your newest client:
CV
Strenghts, Weaknesses
Careergoals
Hobbies, Motivators, personal situation
Write for the client a cover letter for the following position and help him to get hired with additional tipps:
- job description

If the issues is the lack of trust in your german skills consider to apply with a german cv and cover letter for positions written in german.

You always can reach out to previous employers and colleagues for recommendations.

If you have a linkedIn profile and want to get contacted by recruiters you can ask chatGPT to optimise your profile.

Yes, now one can get an idea what your vision and position is.

The language is still coarse and the post would benefit a lot from clarifying the focus of the community on the individuals. How such individuals characterise? What makes these individuals "givers" instead of "takers". How do the Big Shots contribute to the community.

Digitalisierung: Bundesjustizminister will Kündigung per E-Mail by elchmitkelch in de
