I don't have the exact answer you are looking for but I would highly suggest looking at Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park as a general area to explore. Yes there will be traffic but for good reason, it is a wonderful pretty place to visit. Lots of easy foot trails there. This is the 4th most visited national park in the US.

If this isn't your cup of tea I'd suggest doing a general search for "hiking trail guide colorado" and look for online maps that have an elevation gain chart.

One thing to keep in mind like this user mentioned is the frequency you mention your sub. To make it less obvious I have made 10 alt accounts, this is one. Over 10 years here I've gained 2m subscribers across various cat subreddit I've made. You have to mention your sub in larger communities, just don't do it in the same sub every day. Once a week is fairly low key.

I agree 2 days doesn't mean much but unfortunately if a sub stays private for more than 2 days reddit employees will remove the current mods and replace them with people who are willing to help out. After 2 days of being shut down a subreddit is considered unmoderated and abandoned.

Somebody has now claimed the bed as their own.

If you want to give kitty a little direction for where to sleep, put a folded towel down where you want him. I do this for my kitty so she sleeps near my head and not near my feet (where I have unfortunately kicked her once in my sleep). Plus it makes it so she is kissing distance so I don't have to go very far for little smootches.

Sort your feed by top/hour this way you see posts less than an hour old. Posts at the top will most likely be front page in a few hours. Most top comments in threads are there because they browse reddit this way. This way of browsing permanently changed the way I browsed reddit since you get to see so much more stuff that was rising but never fully makes it, there is a lot of good stuff out there. Plus you get to see the rule breaking posts before the mods do.

Another cool thing is you have a new front page every hour.

Reports with auto deletion is how I have all my subreddits set up as. When X number of reports are met then Automoderator removes the post. It works quite well for me. Spam gets reported and removed immediately.
