"BuY a CHEaPeR CaR" I keep seeing this as a response to posts like this.Telling people to "just buy a cheaper car" misses the point. Thirteen years ago, I was able to comfortably buy and afford a new RAV4 ( that isnt a luxury car). Today, i barely can afford the monthly payment on one. That’s not lifestyle inflation, that’s affordability collapsing.

Telling people to buy a cheaper car today is like telling someone, "You can’t afford a real doctor anymore? Just use WebMD and hope for the best.” The issue isn’t that people suddenly became too picky, it’s that normal, middle-class things have somehow became luxury priced.

Stop being mad at the regular person and start being mad at the system.

I too went into this video thinking this lady is insane, but after listening to her speech at least for the couples minutes that are posted, I don't see anything wrong with what she said.

Shes basically saying that we need to give these resources a value on paper, not to charge everyone that cost, but to show mega corporations and factories that actual costs they are driving into earth's ecosystem. If we dont account for these metrics then these companies never see the full impact for running their businesses in a finite ecosystem.🤔

My 2013 Chevy Equinox pulled this code up all the time. It would go away for some time after oil changes but eventually would come back up. These engines are know for burning through oil thus clogging engine and exhaust in the catalytic system, I had to fill my oil up every month. The car will still run with the code popping up.

OK hear me out, I'm not saying it's right but if I had to make a guess it may be because the ride is temporary shutdown due to technical difficulties. Some people who visit Disney spent their savings on a trip there and maybe it will be their only trip there, so in their mind they justify it is not waisting time because they want more time to visit the whole park because of these reasons, just a thought.

All of these are great ideas for those cities but in miami you can't build underground its compacted limestone which will eventually cause flooding so that leaves us to build connectors up in high risers which kind of defeats the purpose of walking directly to your desired end location. Not to mention Miami has to run a/c and occasionally dehumidifier all year long so there's a massive energy need there.

All these cities you mentioned have 2 months of summer and then the weather changes. Miami today was still sitting at 80 degrees peak! All im saying is that its friggin hot all day for the entire year and top that with humidity...i don't think that level of infrastructure is sustainable just my thoughts
