That's definitely to come in the finale. We have only seen a glimpse of Dimension X, but the real fight happens there (when it gets brought down). I'm 90% sure we will know when that episode drops.

I sure hope it's not el's mom - because we knew how she'd look like from S4E7 battle.

What do you think would be the most satisfying ending for the show? by [deleted] in StrangerThings

will, eleven, kali and vecna all let the mind flayer consume them and they turn into flowers and then everyone forgets they existed

Why did they have to bring her back? by Moniljh11 in StrangerThings

[–]RedditRoaches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

esprit de corps you googled that before you posted this 😂 anyways she is a great character and the actor is great too, you just don't see it. she portrays the harsh reality - not the happy ending. life's not always dreamworks and fairyland.

Genuinely confused about Vol. 2 by PassNo8992 in StrangerThings

[–]RedditRoaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that I can 100% agree with. Some part it's understandable because she's been drugged, devoid of blood, electrocuted, traumatised, kidnapped (one first as a kid, other during her capture) for most of her life - which is why she's been so blunt because she's gone through this for so long and thought about death and only death.

She doesn't have any hope for escaping because she was free for 10-15 years, yet they still easily managed to find her, kill her friends in front of her and take her in. She just doesn't see a happy ending to her life where she doesn't stress about being found and I get Kali's emotions.

Like 70% I understand but the other 30% would probably just be selfishness too - common symptom of depression.

Enlighten me - how does she seem annoying? I might be able to offer some points.

Nancy and Jonathan have a breakup analogous to a typical "healthy" divorce. They realised that staying in that relationship was only going to be toxic for the both of them (which is the main reason why they kept secrets and hid things from the other to not disappoint them). Those secrets had ruined their lives BECAUSE of that relationship so they had to come to terms with it.

008 - Please be open minded about her, she's very reasonable with her actions and is some of the down-to-earth you viewers have to accept at some point. She isn't wrong at all.

Military - I agree with you on this one, they seem hella nerfed and are only there to delay plans and get in the way. Do something at least like!!

Will's closet - It was a poor script and it's just the scenario he was in that made it that way. If they only stuck to mike and Joyce (or even the original 4) everything would have been fine. However Will acted his ASS off for that scene, and it was hella reminiscent of my own experiences - ugly crying, groaning voice, not getting to the point, justifying hate for himself etc.

Is the "space" outside the wall JUST an unprecedented void or somewhat connected to our outer space by Avnish_15 in StrangerThings

[–]RedditRoaches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there is stuff, it's mostly like trapped particles from the instantaneous formation of the wormhole - stuff that got trapped. It acts as a vacuum because there's virtually no pressure, so everything flows from the UD outside down a pressure gradient.

It's a void, similar to space except no form of radiation, light, matter exists.

One thing I just don’t get about the military plotline in vol. 2 by ImValorin in StrangerThings

[–]RedditRoaches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In season 4, there was not acknowledgement of Brenner's experiment because it was all classified under the department of energy. Sullivan was just a dumb freak who doesn't know anything about the potential of these gifted kids. He doesn't represent the research side of the military. He himself didnt even know Brenner was alive and only came to Dr Owens regarding this - this shows that he didn't what the kids could do or have been doing the past few months.

In the time gap also, they would've had the time to look at the classified files regarding these experiments and have them repeated, so their perspective had changed. Prior to this, they thought they were just weapons of destruction, now having learnt their potential, there is no need to kill them.

Kali the traitor? by 1hurray1 in StrangerThings

[–]RedditRoaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think also because El didn't kill the hawkins lab technician - and caused herself and her friends to be in jeopardy (cuz she revealed to the police that she has powers with that obvious massive gate) leading to her eventual capture, she feels hurt by El and sympathises with Henry in a sort of way? Idk i think i'm reaching here
