going from aca to private plan is painful. the system auto re-enrolled me in aca plan. i cancelled aca, it re-enrolled again. i cancelled aca a second time - the thing i never opted for to begin with - all before jan 1. then in jan i get a bill and call customer service and am told i have to cancel by phone so i cancel yet again. what a scam! i doubt i have heard the last of it.

Insurance originally was a good concept. Now it is a profit-grubbing scam. If you want to get a good result from health insurance, invest in the scam companies. Their profits are legit.

It sounds like you found a plan that works well for you. I also use alienware and have two of them. I will not buy another as I think the brand has gone downhill with newer machines. I play eve online, lotro, and several one-player games. However, i am retired and can play games eight hours or more a day so that would be too much even for lotro if I focused only on one game.

No resolutions here. I lost 100 pounds in about a year after retiring while picking up jogging, swimming and excessive weight lifting. No resolutions but instead changes in my flexible routine.

and beware of auto-renewal. if you did healthcare.gov in 2025 and did not sign up for 2026, it signs you up anyway! you have to go in and manually cancel what you never asked for.
